Metro Detectives say the 17-year-old female and her mother came in to interview in reference to allegations of statutory rape against Benjamin McDonald. The female disclosed to detectives that she met McDonald while he was filling in at the Lebanon Pike store, however he normally worked at the Mt. Juliet location. She had turned 17-year-old the moth prior to meeting him, and the pair began a sexual relationship. She disclosed the pair had sex while at work at Waffle House here in Davidson County, and at times in Wilson County (where he is charged with aggravated statutory rape). She told detectives it happened 4-5 times at the Donelson location.
Benjamin McDonald is free on a $3,000 bond in Nashville, charged with statutory rape. He posted a $3,500 bond in Wilson County for aggravated statutory rape.
