Woman smashes wine bottle into boyfriend’s face, pulls him back into house, continues assault, police say.

33-year-old Jenni Terry is charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and false imprisonment after police say she smashed a wine bottle into her boyfriend’s face, pulled him back into the house when he tried to flee, tossed him onto the ground, and then threw what was left of the wine bottle at him as he eventually escaped.

Metro Police were dispatched to Moss Rose Ct. on January 14th, after a witness called to tell them his friend, Benjamin Black[IG], was being assaulted by the friend’s girlfriend. The victim explained the couple got into an argument that escalated when his girlfriend, identified as Jenni Terry[IG], 33, grabbed a glass wine bottle and attacked his face with it, leaving lacerations to his chin. He attempted to run out of the house to get away from the female attacker, however, she grabbed onto Ben Black[fb] and pulled him back inside the house, tossing his body to the ground, preventing him from leaving the premises.

The victim was eventually able to escape and presented to the police with injuries. Jenni Terry[fb] was transported to booking and charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and false imprisonment. She remains jailed in lieu of a $22,000 bond.
