30-year-old Wamond Webb, who goes by the names “Walt Geezy” and “Wamond Macnificent Webb” on social media, is accused of splashing a beer in his girlfriend’s face, vandalizing her car, and then fleeing the scene with his mother as his getaway driver. Police met with Erica Faw at an East Nashville Citgo, where she was standing beside her heavily damaged Ford Escape. She told police that her boyfriend, Webb, threw the beer in her face and punched her just under her right eye, causing her to stop the vehicle as she was driving. She escaped into a gas station while Webb broke out the rear window of her car and damaged the door handles. As she approached him, she says he fled to a vehicle driven by his mother and left the scene. Officers also documented the rearview mirror was ripped off, the key was broken off inside the ignition, and the gear shift had been completely ripped from the console, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Patricia Ethridge told police that her boyfriend of five months, 43-year-old Rodney Dwayne Brooks, “got mad and started hitting her and throwing her around.” She disclosed that Brooks body slammed her and strangled her. Officers documented a long bruise across her neck, a bruise in her right ear, and on her chin.
Zelma Alexander says she was in her Jeep in the 2300 block of Charlotte Pike when she observed a white male in a tank top and jeans, later identified as 30-year-old Logan Pierce Martin, assaulting a white female, Calista Bruner, who was wearing a black shirt and skirt before he fled in a blue Nissan Altima. What led up to this brutal beating of a lover involved the Twelve Thirty Club, Layer Cake, Whiskey row, and the Lucky Bastard Saloon…
30-year-old Lakeisha Brown was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail this week on outstanding warrants from the fall of 2021, charging her with two counts of felony vandalism. Police say that in September, Brown approached Velma Crawford’s 2005 Chevy Avalanche and intentionally scratched the side of the truck, causing damages of $1,673. On Halloween of 2021, Brown was inside her Avalanche when Brown once again approached her residence holding a dog cage from a nearby trash container and tossed it into the tailgate of the truck while screaming, “B-*-h, I will fuck your ass up!” causing $1,324 in damages.
33-year-old Seth Pedigo is charged with felony vandalism after police say he used a rock to clearly etch an “X” into the door of a 2021 white Tesla Model 3. The car is owned by one of Nashville’s worst realtors, Stephen Delahoussaye of House Haven Realty. He says he confronted the man and asked him why he vandalized his car, and Pedigo reportedly replied, “I was trying to mark where I was”… as in ‘x’ marks the spot. Delahoussaye provided a video of the crime to police, and Pedigo was taken into custody as he was still on the property.
Police say 45-year-old Shane Brooks has found a new way of shopping on the cheap at Target — by pushing out shopping carts full of items out the front door without paying for any of it. He was jailed this week on three outstanding theft warrants, one of them a felony, for his Target heists. In September of 2021, they say he pushed out a cart with $937 worth of merchandise, including a large mattress, out the front door. On November 11th, he pushed $476.69 worth of merchandise directly to his black Ford F-150 without stopping at any checkout. In his largest known theft, Brooks returned to Target on November 20th and pushed a cart with $1,151.88 out the door, and fled after a parking lot confrontation with a loss prevention associate.
At 1:35 a.m. Sunday, officers attempted a traffic stop on 22-year-old Destiny Amari Bradfield after clocking her traveling at 67 mph in a 40 mph zone on Harding Pike. She initially stopped, and as an officer approached her window, she fled at a high rate of speed. Ten minutes later, Belle Meade PD observed her turning into the one-way entry of a neighborhood and were able to lay spike strips across the exit. She drove almost a quarter-mile after crossing the spike strips, then fled from the vehicle on foot after abandoning the vehicle in a random driveway — leaving her wallet full of identification cards in the front seat. A short time later, another vehicle approached the abandoned vehicle traveling extremely slowly. During a traffic stop, Bradfield was found pretending to be asleep under a blanket in the back seat of that car.
26-year-old Robert S Jordan was jailed this month on an outstanding warrant charging him with automobile burglary and felony theft after using his job as a tow truck driver for West Nashville Towing, a zone provider for MNPD, to steal from at least one vehicle that he was towing to impound on behalf of police. Officers stopped Isaiah Neah in April and called the zone wrecker to tow and impound the vehicle.
When Neal bonded out of jail and retrieved his vehicle from impound, he realized a very expensive speaker box was missing from his vehicle, and he reported it to police, who reviewed video footage at the impound lot, and no one had approached the vehicle. A review of the body cam footage from the night of his arrest shows the speakers inside the vehicle. The Infotainment system of the vehicle shows it stopped between the start of the two and the impound lot for 18 minutes at the home of Robert Jordan, and the system shows the doors of the vehicle being opened during that period. West Nashville towing confirms Jordan is no longer an employee.
Metro Nashville Police say 25-year-old Makayla Dodge got into an argument with her roommate, Alexander Leavitt, over a GrubHub order. She reportedly told him to leave the residence and threw his pizza at him. He attempted to push her out of his room, but she was able to use her body to prevent the door from closing and pulled his hair in an effort to come back into his room. She then grabbed a pair of scissors and chased him into another room while she attempted to stab him with the scissors. He was able to disarm her and throw the scissors outside. She did manage to land several punches to his face during the struggle, leaving him bruised and swollen.
Maleigha Webb-Boyd was jailed overnight on an outstanding warrant from last year, charging her with felony aggravated child abuse. Metro Nashville Police say a home surveillance system shows 35-year-old Maleigha Webb-Boyd telling a young child to come to her and pull his pants down, and when he doesn’t she replies “if I have to chase you down “I’m going to hit you wherever!” She then proceeds to strike the child approximately ten times before he runs away, at which time she follows him and strikes him ten more times before telling him he has “another one coming.”
