He was extremely intoxicated and became aggressive with security, which led to his detention. He was eventually taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Underage drinker Layne Hein charged after being disorderly in downtown Nashville

20-year-old Layne Wyatt Hein was in front of The Stage on Broadway in the early hours of Sunday morning, being disorderly with other citizens and patrons of the bar. Police say when they approached Hein, he smelled strongly of alcohol, despite being only twenty years old. He was unable to care for himself and was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Active shooter arrested inside St. Thomas Midtown Hospital with multiple magazines of ammo

#BREAKING: Metro Nashville Police responded to an active shooter a St. Thomas Midtown Hospital early Saturday after multiple calls were received of shots fired from inside the hospital. Security advised they heard two shots fired from inside a stairwell, and the gunman was now on the fourth level of the stairs after having entered through a back door to the hospital. Officers located and confronted the man, identified as 33-year-old Nicholas Zaayenga, who was eventually taken into custody. He was armed and had multiple magazines of ammunition in his possession, and was firing at in interior door when he was located. Multiple bullet casings were located in the same area. [His mugshot was not immediately available due to the weekend timing of the incident]

Micheala DeLeyer found passed out, so drunk she didn’t know her own name in Nashville

28-year-old Michaela DeLeyer was reported as unconscious in the hallway of the Carillon Apartments at 3 a.m. Wednesday. Officers arrived to find her in an extreme level of intoxication, and she did know her own name. She reeked of alcohol and had urinated on herself. Once she realized she was loaded into an ambulance to receive medical treatment, she refused all medical assistance. Unable to be left in her current state, she was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

Anthony Flores charged after drunken antics at Losers Bar & Grill in downtown Nashville

26-year-old Anthony Rene Flores attempted to interfere with security at Losers Bar & Grill in downtown Nashville as they were detaining another individual late Saturday night. As Metro Police arrived to take the other individual into custody, Flores then began to interfere with the officers. Security relayed that before they detained Flores, he yelled and reach toward the back of his waistband, then balled up his fists, took a fighting stance, and lunched at the bouncers. Due to his extreme level of intoxication, Flores was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Texas tourist Adam Campos fights patron at Kid Rock’s Bar & punches police UTV

22-year-old Texas tourist Adam Campos was involved in a fight at Kid Rock’s Bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville Sunday. He appeared to require medical attention but became combative when medics arrived and attempted to re-enter the bar to continue the fight with the other person from who he was now separated. While officers initially agreed to let him go about his night, a few minutes later they observed him standing near the entrance holding a knife, where they believed he was waiting for the other party to exit the bar. Campos then suddenly approached a police UTV and punched it with his fist. Deciding he was too intoxicated to be left alone, Campos was placed into custody and charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

On Sunday, 25-year-old Karly Pustka opined on her Instagram account: “Nashville can’t handle the Texans 🤠🎉 #nashvillebachelorettee” with a photo of her friends in Nashville — it would turn out that the Texans couldn’t handle Nashville. In the early hours of Monday morning, Metro Nashville Police responded to a domestic disturbance call at Club Wyndham Nashville on McGavock Pike. The bride-to-be, Madison Pustka, told police her cousin, Karly Pustka, lunged at her while scratching at her neck. Madison says she was just attempting to check on Karly, who had locked herself in the bathroom of the hotel room after getting extremely intoxicated. Madison and another person were able to get past the locked door, which angered Karly, who says she acted in self-defense. Karly was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault with bodily injury.

30-year-old Brittany Nicole Cline was stopped by Belle Meade Police just after 1 a.m. Friday due to an expired tag on her vehicle. As Officer Haley Doty spoke with Cline during the traffic stop, she could smell alcohol coming from Cline’s breath and noticed a Modelo tallboy in the center cup holder and 4 empty White Claw cans along with a variety pack of unopened cans. Cline performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was unable to provide a proper sample for a breathalyzer, despite three attempts. She was charged with DUI and transported to booking.
