Joshua Simmons jailed after drunkenly fighting in downtown Nashville

41-year-old Joshua Simmons was jailed this week after starting a fight at Matheson’s and then becoming Combative with police on 2nd Avenue. Officers were flagged down and saw Simmons fighting with one of the employees on the sidewalk after being told to leave the establishment. Officers broke up the fight and tried to arrest Simmons, but he became combative and resisted. Multiple officers arrived to assist in the arrest due to Simmons being heavily intoxicated. They were able to get him into handcuffs safely, but once placed in the patrol vehicle, Simmons began kicking and slamming his head against the window and door.

Nashville Fire paramedic Nick French charged in assault of wife in Clarksville

39-year-old Nashville Fire Department Paramedic Nicholas French is charged with the domestic assault of his wife, Amanda French, on February 15. She says she went to the bathroom to shower, and Nicholas turned off the shower. She exited and attempted to re-enter the bathroom and had to push past him as he was blocking her way. In the process, she says he slammed her arm in the door and held it for at least thirty seconds before completely slamming it shut and punching it several times. Officers documented indentations on the victim’s arm and a golf ball-sized lump on her leg from the assault. French has been with the Nashville Fire Department since July of 2021 and is currently using his accrued leave time until the situation has been litigated.

Clarksville Divorce Lawyer Michael K. Williamson charged in felony assault of wife

64-year-old Michael Williamson was jailed on Sunday night, charged with the felony aggravated assault of his wife, Larson Faye Williamson. Deputies responded to their Maxshire Court residence just after 7:30 p.m. Sunday for a domestic disturbance call. Both parties were reportedly drunk, and after investigating, deputies determined Michael to be the primary aggressor. During an argument, he is alleged to have pushed his wife and thrown her down onto a chair with one hand while grabbing her neck and upper chest area. The victim’s injuries were documented and consisted of irritation and bruising on her body.

Clarksville’s most prominent problematic party boy, BRAY2K, or as the judge calls him, Brayden Collins, was at Play Dance Bar this weekend when he says he was beaten by a bouncer, some of which was captured on video. The 19-year-old was with friends at the 18+ dance club, and the club even featured him on their social media and website photos from the evening. At some point, he was escorted out of the club after someone said he intentionally bumped into them. Brayden says he asked to apologize to the person but was escorted out instead. Once he was on the sidewalk, a video shows him being beaten as a member of the security staff holds him down.

Clarksville Real estate investor Adam Johnson jailed after assaulting stepson

Deputies say 39-year-old Clarksville real estate investor and self-described ‘lifestyle coach’ Adam Johnson threatened to kill his 13-year-old stepson, and threw him against a bed frame and assaulted him once before. The most recent incident occurred on January 20, when the victim’s 16-year-old sister called 911 as Johnson was screaming he was actually going to kill the child. Adam’s wife, Clarksville’s self-proclaimed ‘AirBNB Expert’ Asury Johnson, says at 4 p.m. that day, her husband stated he intended to “put his hands” on her son and assault him. The couple argued while she stood in the doorway to prevent him from hurting her son. Adam fled the scene before police arrived and refused to return when contacted by officers.

During an interview, the child disclosed that his stepfather had previously assaulted him when he believed he cursed during a video game. The child says Adam grabbed his VR headset and threw his body against a bed frame, and then violently shook him, striking the back of his head multiple times. During that incident, Adam was also reportedly threatening to kill the child. He was booked on the outstanding domestic assault warrant five days after the incident.

Clarksville vice-principal Garry Chadwell forced teen to penetrate him sexually, per rape indictment

49-year-old Kenwood High School Assistant Principal & Athletic Director Garry James Chadwell was jailed Tuesday evening, charged with forcing a 17-year-old to penetrate him sexually. The indictment, a copy of which is in the story, alleges one count of forcing the child to penetrate him without the child’s consent, and another count of adding the statutory rape charge. The incident occurred on January 22, 2022.

Frat guy crashes into cops’s personal car, parks at church & claims someone crashed into him instead — Cameron Ray arrested

20-year-old Cameron Ray, of Clarksville, is free on a $10,000 bond after lying to police and his insurance company about how his 2010 white Camaro became totaled. On March 6th the APSU Pike called police to a church parking lot behind his fraternity house, where he reported someone had crashed into his car and fled the scene, causing full airbag deployment, and “massive damage” which the insurance company determined to be written off as “totaled”.

Days later it was determined that Ray was actually driving the car on Elkmont Drive when he left the roadway and struck a Chevrolet Silverado which was parked in the driveway of a police officer’s house, then fled the scene. He is charged with felony filing a false report and leaving the scene of an accident. Ray says he was just “a dumb kid who was texting on his phone and too scared to tell his parents, but don’t compare me to a common criminal” in a quote from his social media about the crime.

Clarksville Officer fired after 1000’s of sexts & explicit videos exchanged with teen on city phone

A Clarksville Field Training Officer has been fired after it was discovered he exchanged over 16,000 texts and videos, including many of a sexual nature, with a teen. Over 5,000 were exchanged while he was on-duty with a trainee who was driving him around in a patrol car. The teen initially claimed she had sex with him while he was on-duty, but later recanted her statement after it was shared widely on social media.
