Naked man found hallucinating at Ryman Auditorium

20-year-old Zachary Swarthout was charged with public intoxication and public indecency after police found him completely naked and claiming to be hallucinating at the Ryman Auditorium.

On February 11th, police were dispatched to 116 Opry Place in regards to a male subject who was fully nude. When police arrived they found the subject, who was later identified as Zachary Swarthout, completely naked. Zachary was taken into custody without incident. He told police that he had been drinking but could not recall how much.

Zachary went on to state that he was hallucinating and was no longer sure what was real and what was not. Zachary was deemed incapable of caring for himself at the time and transported to booking. At the time police could not find Zachary’s ID but he did provide his name and birthdate to officers.

Zachary Swarthout was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication and Public Indecency. According to online court records, he is scheduled to appear in Davidson County Criminal Court on March 6th.
