Man involved in “heated argument” downtown arrested for public intoxication

31-year-old John Brimeyer was charged with public intoxication after getting into a heated argument at an intersection of Downtown Nashville.

On February 23rd, police were dispatched to 4th Avenue North and Commerce Street in reference to a disorderly person. Upon arrival, police witnessed John Brimeyer involved in a heated argument with two other individuals. Police stated that John had watery eyes, slurred speech, and smelled of alcohol. John was taken into custody and transported to booking without incident.

John Brimeyer was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication. The charge was later dismissed.
