32-year-old Kelcey Jamar Walker was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after he stabbed his girlfriend in front of her children and then fled the scene.
On September 26th, Metro Nashville Police Department officers responded to a call placed by Jasmine Hayes who reported to police that her live-in boyfriend, Kelcey Jamar Walker, returned home intoxicated and accused her of infidelity.
She told officers that he began to attack her, smashed her head into a wall, grabbed her by the hair, and stabbed her in the shoulder with a kitchen knife. Officers observed her injuries as a result of the attack and questioned her children about what they witnessed. Her children were able to confirm their mother’s statement and verified they witnessed Walker stabbing Hayes with a knife. Walker was not on scene when police arrived and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
On October 2nd, Kelcey Jamar Walker was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $20,000 bond.
