32-year-old Jennifer Mcfarlin was charged with two counts of assault after she attacked a drunken acquaintance at Walmart and then later headbutted a nurse that was trying to check up on her at Nashville General Hospital.

On September 29th, Metro Nashville officers were dispatched to the Walmart at 7044 Charlotte Pike on a call about a person fighting. Officers arrived on the scene where Lisa Miller informed them she knew Jennifer Mcfarlin and was attacked for no reason.

It was noted that Miller had a laceration to her brow. Miller also told them Mcfarlin tried to grab her bag and was striking her in the process. A witness confirmed she saw Mcfarlin run up on Miller and hit her several times and provided video footage. Officers were able to take Mcfarlin into custody based on the video and the independent witness’ statement. It was later discovered that she also had three failure-to-appears for court and an outstanding warrant from Cheatham County and advised they would extradite.

Later that same day, Jennifer Mcfarlin was transferred to Nashville General Hospital. Officers witnessed Mcfarlin attempt to strike nurse Kimila Brogan that was checking her blood pressure. She was unable to hit the nurse because she had been placed in handcuffs, so she then intentionally headbutted the nurse in the chest. Officers were able to capture these events on body-worn cameras.

Jennifer Mcfarlin was arrested and charged with two counts of assault. Her bond was set at $2,000.
