29-year-old Antonio Boykin was charged with vandalism after running over a fence and punching out the rear window of his girlfriend’s car.

On October 21st, Metropolitan Nashville Police Officers responded to a call about a domestic disturbance. When they arrived at the dispatched address, they met with Chasity Williams who told the officers that she got into an argument with her boyfriend Antonio Boykin, who has been previously charged twice with assault with a deadly weapon.

She reported that the two had got into an argument because she did not want Antonio to drive their car since he had been drinking and was too intoxicated to get behind the wheel. Despite this, he got into the car and drove it into the fence, causing $400 in damage, and got out to argue with Chasity again. He then punched the rear passenger window causing it to shatter and adding $200 more to the damages. Police noted he had scratches on his arm consistent with breaking the vehicle window but refused medical assistance.

Antonio Boykin was arrested and charged with vandalism of $1,000 or less. He has been released on a $1,500 bond.
