33-year-old Hessen Ribbentrop faces multiple charges after police say he slashed 3 of the 4 tires on his father’s vehicle with a dagger, then beat his father into a fetal position on the ground, and continued the attack.
Metro Nashville Police responded to a Nashville home after neighbors reported a son was attacking his elderly father in the yard of their residence. One caller advised the elderly father was in the fetal position and the son was still attacking him.
Officer arrived and the victim explained he was unable to breathe and was about to block out from being strangled after his son beat him and then placed him in an “arm-bar chokehold”. Officers observed injury to the father’s neck, and that 3 of the 4 tires on the father’s vehicle had been slashed. The son admitted to using a dagger to puncture the tires.
Hessen I. Ribbentrop was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on May 5th, with an alias of “Hess Benjamin Henson”. He is charged with vandalism and felony aggravated assault/strangulation, and remains jailed in lieu of a $7,500 bond.
