ARREST WARRANT / AFFIDAVIT:
On 09/09/2021 Officers were dispatched to the Exxon on Broadway for an individual who was threatening to stab people with a syringe. When we arrived, we made contact with the defendant who had a syringe in his hand. The defendant was acting under the influence of an unknown substance. The defendant denied threatening anyone with the syringe.
The victim, who is an employee at the location, stated that she saw the defendant in front of the location with the syringe in his hand, so she approached him and asked him to put the syringe away and leave the property. The defendant responded to the victim by saying he would stab her with the syringe, so she then called PD. The victim stated to PD that she did want to prosecute for aggravated assault. The syringe was seized by Officer Byron Carter to make a photocopy and submit to evidence.
