Nashville Police say 24-year-old Michael Austin Collier shoved a hamburger into the face of his girlfriend from behind. She had brought the food to his apartment for him, when he demanded she leave. Collier is charged with domestic assault/provocative contact, and is free on a $1,000 bond.
At the time of his arrest, Collier was free on a $5,000 bond from a February arrest when he pawned both a Movado watch and Bose earbuds at a local pawn shop using his own ID, items he is alleged to have stolen from a locker at the Hillsboro Circle YMCA.

| The victim states that the defendant is her boyfoend. Today she brought food to the defendant. The defendant told her to leave the apartment. The defendant and victim got into an argument. The defendant then shoved a hamburger into the face of the victim from behind. When police anived on the scene, there was food consistent with the hamburger on the victim’s right side of her face and hair. The suspect as well as the witness further made statements to police that the suspect shoved the hamburger in the victim’s face. |
