Steven Cole assaults ex-lover with a candle after she attacks him with hot rice

32-year-old Steven Cole was jailed Thursday on an outstanding warrant charging him with felony aggravated assault. His former roommate and lover, Laquisha Lacy, contacted police on May 12th to report a food fight turned felony incident that occurred two weeks prior, on April 27th. She says the two were having a verbal argument when he left the shared apartment and tried to come back inside, at which time he tossed things around the home. Lacy states she threw hot rice on Steven Cole. In retaliation, Cole admits he threw a candle at Lacy, striking her in the head. She had to be transported to the hospital for her injuries and required eight stitches to close the gash on her forehead.

Police say 47-year-old Heather Berry ashed her boyfriend, Jeremiah Steimle, to set up the grill for burgers on Monday night, and when she was “unhappy with his response time,” she began to do it herself. As she began grilling, an argument ensued, and she took all of the food and tossed it off their rear balcony. The argument continued, and she punched him with her fists, as witnessed by his father, who owns the home. Not quite finished, she took a plastic container filled with a beverage and smashed it over his head. Before fleeing the scene, she went through the home and kicked various items, including the TV and soundbar. 

Teen throws Cheetos at father, threatens to stab him, so he sends her to jail — Keldasha Blaylock

18-year-old Keldasha Blaylock was charged with domestic assault on Christmas Eve after police say she was in the back seat and threw soda and Cheetos into the front seat where her father was in the vehicle during an argument while driving in Nashville.

She then threatened to spit on the back of his head, at which point the father, Kelvin Blaylock, stopped and exited the vehicle and went to the rear door, which Keldasha had locked. She admits to threatening to stab him with a knife he continued to attempt to open the door and reached toward her waistband. The father told police he was in fear for his life, and Keldasha was taken into custody. She is free on a $1,500 bond.

Woman out on bail for assault with chicken now charged with egg assault on boyfriend — Trinity Hillsman

19-year-old Trinity Hillsman, who is currently awaiting trial for assaulting a co-worker at Popeye’s with a piece of chicken, was newly arrested this week on a warrant charging her with the assault of her boyfriend, Kedarius Devault, using a carton of eggs, then her fists, in October. The victim and witnesses state she approached him in a parking lot and first assaulted him using the eggs and punched him with her fists, leaving cuts on his writs and forearms as a result of the attack. She was charged with domestic assault with bodily injury and is free on a new $1,500 bond. She had January court dates for both cases.

Man shoved hamburger in face of girlfriend from behind — Michael Austin Collier arrested

Nashville Police say 24-year-old Michael Austin Collier shoved a hamburger into the face of his girlfriend from behind. She had brought the food to his apartment for him, when he demanded she leave. Collier is charged with domestic assault/provocative contact, and is free on a $1,000 bond.
