18-year-old Keldasha Blaylock was charged with domestic assault on Christmas Eve after police say she was in the back seat and threw soda and Cheetos into the front seat where her father was in the vehicle during an argument while driving in Nashville. She then threatened to spit on the back of his head, at which point the father, Kelvin Blaylock, stopped and exited the vehicle and went to the rear door, which Keldasha had locked. She admits to threatening to stab him with a knife he continued to attempt to open the door and reached toward her waistband. The father told police he was in fear for his life, and Keldasha was taken into custody. She is free on a $1,500 bond.

| Officers responded to 825 Murfreesboro Pike regarding a domestic incident between the defendant, Keldasha Blaylock, and her father/victim, Kelvin Blaylock. Kelvin stated to the police that he and the defendant had a verbal argument while they were driving down the road. Kelvin stated that the argument escalated and that the defendant threw soda and Cheetos into the front compartment of the vehicle where he was sitting and threatened to spit on the back of his head. Kelvin stated that he pulled the vehicle into 525 Murfreesboro Pike and that he got out of the vehicle and tried to open the rear passenger compartment door, at which point the defendant threatened to stab him with a knife. Kelvin stated that the defendant reached toward her waistband as if she was going to grab a knife. Kelvin stated he never saw a knife but that he felt in fear for his life at that time.
