Logan Thompson threatens man with knife, tells him “I’ll cut your throat if you don’t move!”

22-year-old Logan Tyler Thompson threatened Tyler Worden with a knife near The Musicians Hall of Fame Museum around 7:42 p.m. on April 25th. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Worden. Worden stated that a male, later identified as Thompson, who was wearing a black hoodie and green pants, approached him, demanding that he move. Then, he said that Thompson pulled out a knife and stated, “I’ll cut your throat if you don’t move!” Officers searched the area and located a man who matched the description, identified as Thompson, near the WeGo Central Bus Station on Martin Luther King Boulevard with a large machete in his waistband. Officers detained him and conducted a “show-up,” where Worden identified him. Kimberly Lanham, a witness, spoke with officers and corroborated Worden’s statements. Thompson was then taken into custody for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

James Dimanoff drunkenly steals man’s phone on Broadway

51-year-old James Naum Dimanoff took an individual’s phone on Broadway in the later hours of January 21st. Officers were flagged down by the citizen, who advised them of the incident, pointing out Dimanoff as the one who stole his cell phone. Dimanoff consented to a search, which led to officers locating the phone. He was visibly intoxicated as he told them he did not have anywhere to go tonight or anyone to care for him. Dimanoff was taken into custody for public intoxication.  

Jonathan Lou Hansen jailed after fighting bouncers at Kid Rock’s Bar in downtown Nashville

35-year-old Jonathan Hansen was captured on video aggressively approaching security at Kid Rock’s Bar in downtown Nashville Friday evening while appearing extremely intoxicated. Police say Hansen then continued to attempt to fight other people in the area. Officers arrived to find him extremely intoxicated and disorderly. He refused to provide his name but was eventually identified via his debit card during booking.
