Chelsea Sharp refuses to leave Rest Haven Motel, tells police “Y’all are going to have to drag me out of here”

43-year-old Chelsea Sharp was seen refusing to leave a room at the Rest Haven Motel on March 18th. Officers arrived at the mentioned location and contacted the manager, Dev Desai. Desai stated that he wanted an individual who did not sign the rental agreement for a room to leave due to a noise complaint. When officers contacted Sharp, they informed her that she needed to go. Sharp stated, ” I’m not leaving. Y’all are going to have to drag me out of here.” An officer asked Sharp numerous times to leave the hotel, but Sharp sat on the floor and said, “No.”  Sharp was taken into custody and charged with criminal trespassing.

Dajon Brown grabs girlfriend by coat during argument at Super Stop Market

21-year-old Dajon Damerco Brown had a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Anya Teasley, at the Rivergate Parkway Super Stop Market on March 14th. When officers arrived, they spoke with the couple, who advised they had a misunderstanding inside the store. However, a witness, Rajendra Patel, told police that Teasley ran behind the store counter to get away from Brown and offered to provide video footage of the incident. Officers reviewed the video, which showed Teasley running behind the store counter to hide from Brown. Brown then walked behind the counter, grabbed Teasley by the coat, and pulled her from behind the counter. Brown was deemed as the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault.  

Randall Heflin charged with DUI after drinking Mike’s Hard Lemonade

38-year-old Randall Heflin was arrested for driving under the influence on October 19th. Officers observed Heflin failing to maintain his lane and conducted a traffic stop on him. Helfin had a cold, empty Mike’s Hard Lemonade can in his center console and refused to take sobriety tests when asked. Officers noticed Heflin to be visibly intoxicated when stepping out of the vehicle. Heflin was read implied consent and admitted to having two beers in 5 hours. He was taken into custody and transported to booking.

DUI: Halston Downey found asleep in car with another man on Rivergate Parkway

27-year-old Halston Downey was one of two males found asleep in a car in a Rivergate Parkway parking lot, with three empty Modelo beer bottles among them. Officers located Downey in the driver’s seat with the door open and the keys in the center console. Downey woke up long enough to answer, “Enough!” when asked how much he had to drink. He was unable to complete field sobriety tests and was taken into custody.
