Metro Police catch Harding Place drug dealer using confidential informant

Jermichael Deshawn Watson, 23, is currently in a Nashville jail after he sold heroin, cocaine, and methamphetamine to a confidential informant, working for Metro Police, on two separate occasions.

Metro Police focused on the Harding Place area, where the, where the unidentified Watson preferred to meet. Once during the first week of November, and again during the first week of December, Metro Police wired up a confidential informant with an electronic listening device and gave him previously photographed cash money to use for the transaction. During the first transaction he bought a small piece of paper with a powdery substance in it, for $110, which tested positive for both cocaine and heroin. The second transaction was $90 for a bag of crystal methamphetamine.

The week after the second buy was completed, Watson was developed as a suspect, and positively identified by the CI and Detective Wiles as the dealer from the two buys.

Jermichael Watson was arrested and charged with selling controlled substance SCH II, selling controlled substance SCH I, and selling cocaine over .5 gram. He is held in lieu of a $50,000 bond, and has a hearing on Monday morning.
