48-year-old Lersharn Dailey was charged with assault after a man reported her for spraying him with mace in the parking lot of a homeless outreach establishment.
On April 20th, Officers responded to Nashville Rescue Mission located at 639 Lafayette Street when Jerome Booker reported that Lesharn Dailey had sprayed his face with “mace”.
Authorities were able to pull and view footage from a police camera at 7th Avenue South that showed Dailey chase Mr. Booker through the parking lot and spray him. Mr. Booker was transported to Saint Thomas Midtown.
Lersharn Dailey was arrested and charged with assault. She was later freed on pre-trial release.
