21-year-old Alena Walker was charged with theft of property in the form of a Dodge Caliber after stealing the vehicle from Rochel Walker. Walker was later caught with the vehicle on the ground transportation level at the Nashville International Airport.
On June 1st, Officer Redifer received a call regarding a stolen Dodge Caliber belonging to Rochel Walker. The vehicle was spotted on the ground transportation level of the terminal garage at the Nashville International Airport, located on 1 Terminal Dr in Nashville. Officers were informed that the Caliber was attempting to vacate the garage and enter onto Terminal Dr, where Redifer awaited the vehicle’s exit. As the Dodge exited the garage, the officer conducted a traffic stop on Terminal Dr, where nearby Officers Riel and Kullman were awaiting as backup.
The driver, who was identified as Alena Walker, complied with the full extent of Redifer’s demands, exiting the vehicle and later being placed into custody for theft of property. La Vergne law enforcement verified the Caliber to be stolen as well as Walker being the alleged suspect.
Alena Walker was arrested and charged with theft of property over $10,000. Her bond was set at $10,000.
