23-year-old #BoosterClub member Orlexus Elliott is charged in the theft of $4,720 worth of Titans Jerseys from the pro shop on November 5th. Orlexus and another female, whose arrest is pending, entered the Titans Pro Shop at 1 Titans way earlier this month, grabbed all the jerseys they could, and fled the store, fleeing in a black Nissan Murano convertible.
Nashville has a thriving underground of ‘boosters’ who steal racks of items from stores to sell online. As soon as police initially interviewed Elliott about this theft, she removed the stolen items from her social media, where she had the jerseys listed for sale, and offered to arrange to have them returned. Police gave her time to do that, however, she never followed through. She was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Thursday, charged with felony theft. She is free on a $2,500 bond.

ARREST WARRANT / AFFIDAVIT: |
On 11-05-21 at approximately 1324 hours the defendant and another unknown female black enters the Tennessee Titans Pro Shop [1 Titans Way] and stole several Jerseys from the store. The video surveillance captures the incident, and the suspects fled the scene in a black Nissan Murano convertible. The video was posted, and an East Precinct officer recognized the defendant and the suspect vehicle. After reviewing the video and the officer information, the defendant resembles one of the suspects based on build and hairstyle. Detectives were told that the defendant has been seen driving that vehicle in the Cayce homes area. On 11-09-21, detectives located the suspect vehicle parked on Dew Street and spoke with the defendant who lives at 659 Dew Street. The defendant admitted that she drives the suspect vehicle but denied committing the theft at the Pro shop. I showed her a video clip from the Pro shop and the defendant said she would contact someone and return the stolen items this afternoon. Detectives checked the defendant’s Facebook page and she had posted several Titan Jerseys for sale on 11-07-21 and 11-08-21. Immediately after speaking with the defendant, the Titan Jerseys for sale were removed from her Facebook page. Detectives also reviewed the MNPD street cameras and located the suspect vehicle return to the defendant’s address approximately ten minutes after the theft occurred on 11-05-21. The defendant failed to return any of the stolen merchandise and the total value is approximately $4,720.00. |
