TSU Campus Police Officer responded to the back of Wilson Hall on the TSU Campus Saturday afternoon, where he says she smelled “an odor of marijuana” coming from a vehicle, which was occupied by 19-year-old General Jaire Lynch and 18-year-old Jordan Bowers. Both teens admitted to being in possession of a bag of weed and displayed them to the officers. Officers conducted a search of the vehicle and recovered one smoked blunt, one non-smoked blunt, and each teen’s bag, which all totaled 75 grams of marijuana. The teens were each charged with felony possession with intent to distribute and are free on pre-trial release.

| On November 6, 2021, at approximately 1427 hours officers were dispatched to the back of Wilson Hall. Upon our arrival, we smelled an odor of marijuana exiting from a vehicle. We spoke with Mr. Jordan Bowers and Mr. General Lynch who both stated that they were in possession of a bag of marijuana. Both men displayed their bags of marijuana during the investigation to officers. The vehicle was then searched resulting in the finding of one smoked blunt of marijuana, a non-smoked blunt of marijuana, and two plastic bags of marijuana weighing up to 75 grams of marijuana. Mr. Lynch and Mr. Bowers admitted to shared ownership of the 75 grams of marijuana. |
