26-year-old Logan McCullough was charged with DUI on Saturday in East Nashville after Officer Paul Stein says he observed her perform a rolling stop at a stop sign, then cross several lines and swerve as he followed her. Despite his emergency lights, it took a few goes with the emergency siren before she eventually acknowledged him and pulled over. She denied drinking, however, Stein says she reeked of alcohol and was obviously intoxicated. She is free on pre-trial release.

| On 11/06/2021 I observed a black SUV fail to stop at the flashing red lights at N 11th and Gartland and N 11th and Gallatin. I caught up to the vehicle on Eastland in the area of 12th. I observed the driver, suspect, fail to stop, rolling stop, at the stop sign at Eastland and 14th. I additionally observed the vehicle cross the solid double yellow line on two occasions while I was behind it. The suspect was slow to acknowledge my emergency lights and stop as I had to utilize my siren twice before the suspect initiated stopping. I made contact with the suspect and while speaking to her could smell the obvious odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her expelled breath and person, eyes were bloodshot and watery, speech was slow and mumbled, movements were slow and sluggish, she fumbled in her purse looking for her license, and denied consuming any alcoholic beverages when asked. Based on the traffic infractions and driving observed and indicators of impairment observed during my personal contact I requested she perform sfst’s which she agreed to do. She was taken into custody for DUI based on the traffic infractions and driving observed, the indicators of impairment observed during my personal contact, and multiple indicators of impairment observed on each of the sfst’s. She was read the Tennessee Implied Consent Law and refused a breath test and was additionally charged with violating the implied consent law. |
