31-year-old Dominique Thomas is charged with the aggravated assault of her brother, Marcus Price, after she attacked him with a purse in her left hand and a straight-edge razor in her right hand, as he was on the couch. The victim suffered a severe slice wound directly between his eyes. As he called the police she fled the scene. Police and medics responded, and a felony warrant was issued for her arrest. The argument reportedly was over her choice to use drugs rather than drive their mother to the store.
Two days later as officers were attempting to serve the felony warrant on Thomas, they blocked her vehicle in and activated their blue lights as she fled toward her apartment with officers in a foot chase. Officers took her into custody, and found her with a glass pipe with narcotic residue in her pocket. She remains jailed in lieu of a $45,000 bond, charged with felony aggravated assault, drug paraphernalia, evading arrest, and resisting arrest.

| On 12/12/2021 at 1100 hours the victim, Marcus Price, and the defendant, Dominique Thomas, were engaged in a verbal argument at their residence located at 1008 Hickory Hill Ln Apt. D. The victim and the defendant are siblings and reside within the same residence. The victim stated the defendant was upset because their mother went to the grocery store. The victim stated the defendant was upset with their mother because she felt their mother was gone a long time. The victim stated the defendant was irate and they were engaged in a verbal argument. The victim stated he was laying on the couch and the defendant was upstairs. The victim stated he told the defendant she would rather use drugs than to drive their mother to the grocery store. The victim stated this angered the defendant and she ran downstairs and attacked him. The victim stated the defendant had a purse in her left hand which she used to strike his face. The victim stated the defendant had a straight edge razor blade in her right hand that she used to cut his face between his eyes. The victim stated the defendant left the residence as she saw blood on his face after he called police. The victim has a straight slice wound between his eyes. NFD Medic 28 provided the victim with medical attention. On 12-14-2021 at approximately 1300 hours, officers attempted to serve a verified outstanding felony warrant on the defendant at her residence. Officers observed the defendant exit her apartment at 1612 Amberwood Cir and get in her vehicle. Officers blocked the defendant’s vehicle and activated blue lights. The defendant exited her vehicle and ran away back into her apartment as officers were chasing her. Officers chased the defendant to the downstairs area of her apartment. When officers grabbed the defendant, she continued to pull away and resist. After the defendant was taken into custody, a glass pipe with narcotic residue was found in her right pants pocket during a search incident to her arrest. This incident was captured on multiple police body-worn cameras. |
