28-year-old Kinoshia Taylor was booked into the Metro Nasvhille Jail Wednesday on an outstanding from the week prior charging her with theft. According to police, she went to visit her ex-boyfriend, Wayne Parker, and when he left to go run some errands he allowed her to stay behind as the two were still friendly. When he returned, he found she had stolen both his truck and his iPad. As he was filing the police report, she called him on the phone, and an officer overheard her admitting to the theft. She is free on a $1,500 bond.

| Victim stated that his ex-girlfriend, the defendant, came over to his house and everything was cool. The victim stated that he left the house to go run some errands and when he came back to the house his truck was missing. The victim stated that the defendant has been allowed to drive his truck before. The victim stated that with it being gone he knew something was off. The victim stated that he went inside and noticed that he had items taken one was his Ipad. The victim stated that it was the large one valued at 1,700 dollars. The victim stated that he knew it was his ex-girlfriend, so he went to her house. The victim stated that when he got there the truck was there. The victim stated that he had the truck taken back to his house by a tow truck. The victim later called police. While the victim was talking to the officer the defendant called his cell phone. Defendant then admitted over the phone that she took his tablet and still has it at this time. This is all on body camera. The victim was able to state to the officer that it was the defendant he was speaking to, and it was the defendant’s number that called him. |
