26-year-old Craig Briley was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail after police determined he was a felon in possession of a handgun while riding in a car with William Anderson and Jada Stange, and she told police the gun wasn’t hers, despite the fact she was able to legally possess one. Once at the Jail, located a homemade ‘tube’, created from electrical tape, deep inside Briley’s rectum by Officer Brian Burton which contained 24 grams of methamphetamine, 28 grams of marijuana, and a MicroSD card. Also found attached to Briley’s penis was a metal pill bottle with 5 ecstasy pills and another gram of meth. Briley is jailed in lieu of a $35,000 bond.

| On 01/05/2022, Hermitage Community Field Intelligence Team, conducted a traffic stop at I40W near 24 E due to the Toyota Camry having expired temporary tag from September of 2021. While speaking to the driver, William Anderson, he stated that he was aware his tags were expired and that he drives people places for money. William Anderson gave detectives consent to search his vehicle, in which front seat passenger Craig Briley and rear-seat passenger Jada Stange were identified. Craig Briley has multiple out-of-state warrants which wished not to extradite. During a consent search of the Toyota Camry Detective Vaugh collected 2 grams of marijuana and a marijuana blunt from a cigarette pack in the front cup holder. Mr. Anderson stated that the marijuana was in fact marijuana. In the back seat, Detective Burnette collected a Star Arms 9mm handgun which was located on top of a handbag. The Star Arms handgun had one round in the chamber and a loaded magazine for a total of seven rounds. While speaking to back seat passenger Jada Stange about the handgun she stated that Craig Briley put the gun on top of her bag before stopping for detectives. Craig Briley is a convicted felon out of Nashville Davidson County for Robbery (2017-0840419), contraband in a penal institution (2019-043778) and burglary of a motor vehicle (2020-115598). Due to Jada Stange having no reason to lie to detectives and can legally have a gun, Craig Briley was placed into custody for possession of the firearm. During a search of Craig Briley’s bag, Detective Vaugh collected a glass Meth pipe. While being transported to booking Detective Patricio asked Craig Briley multiple times if he had any other illegal items on his person. Mr. Briley informed Detective Patricio that he had nothing illegal on him. While in the sally port at booking Corrections Officer Brian Burton also asked Mr. Briley if he had anything illegal on his person which Mr. Briley stated he did not. While in DCSO custody Officer Brian Burton located a homemade tube, which was constructed of electrical tape inside Craig Briley’s anus. Mr. Briley stated that inside the tube was marijuana and methamphetamine. I was able to open the tube of electrical tape which contained 24 grams of methamphetamine, approximately 28 grams of marijuana, and a Sony micro XD memory card. Additionally, Officer Burton found a metal pill bottle that was connected to Mr. Briley’s penis. Inside the bottle were five ecstasy pills and approximately one gram of methamphetamine. |

He can spend all that money on dope and too insane, to pay 29 dollars for tags. Blows my mind. You would think getting his tags would be the first thing he would’ve done. Bless that cop that had to get the tape off.yuk!!!!!
