Meghan Wise aka “$Megaweed on yo sh*t” sells undercover officers multiple 8-Balls of cocaine via Telegram chat

21-year-old Meghan Wise used the username “$megaweed on yo sh*t” in a Telegram thread named “615 Traphouse,” and detectives conducted a controlled-buy operation with an undercover officer at the Hamilton Church Road Walmart on September 22nd, 2023. Wise was advertised as “a runner” in the chat. The police began talking with her and set up a transaction to buy an 8-ball of cocaine for $230 on September 22nd, 2023. “Megaweed” and undercover agents agreed to meet at Walmart, and on the day of the operation, she stated she was driving a red Mazda 6. Then, officers spotted her car parked near the Lawn and Garden part of the store, closer to the back. A white female, later identified as Wise, aka “Megaweed,” exited the Mazda and walked to the front of the location. She then messaged undercovers, telling them she was there. Then, officers messaged back, saying they were already parked near her vehicle, and when she returned, she and the detective sat in the Mazda. They presented Wise with the money, and she handed them a bag with a white, powdery substance. After this, both parties left the parking lot. Officers tested the substance, which tested positive for cocaine and fentanyl, weighing 9 grams. They ran the tags through NCIC and found the red Mazda was registered to a “Meghan Wise.” After running her driver’s license number, the undercover detective positively identified her as the person in question. A warrant was then issued for her arrest on March 15th, 2024.

On September 27th, 2023, Midtown Hills CFIT conducted a second controlled-buy operation with an undercover detective at the Hamilton Church Road Walmart. Wise had previously sold them narcotics a few days prior. On September 24th, 2023, she realized she had provided a larger amount than discussed, so they set up another buy to pay off the difference and purchase another 8-ball of cocaine, totaling $550. Undercover detectives were in the parking lot when Wise arrived in her red Mazda 6. Then, undercover officers approached her, and after a quick conversation, she handed them the drugs. During the dialogue, the undercover detective talked the total price down to $540 before leaving. Once the transaction ended, officers tested the substance, which was again positive for cocaine and fentanyl, weighing 6 grams. An additional warrant was issued for her arrest on March 15th, 2024. Wise was later taken into custody for four counts of felony possession on July 19th, 2024.

18-year-old Danquiz Moore caught with cocaine & handgun during traffic stop

18-year-old Danquiz Moore rode as a passenger in a Hyundai Sonata that the police pulled over on Dickerson Pike near Queen Avenue late July 9th. During the traffic stop, they discovered the driver was 18 years old as they observed several tobacco products throughout the vehicle. Officers then had everyone exit the vehicle and detained them. When officers searched the Hyundai, they discovered a plastic baggie with about 18 grams of marijuana, another baggie with approximately 5 grams of cocaine, and two digital scales. Officers also discovered a Citadel 9mm handgun on the floorboard where Moore was sitting. Additionally, officers found tobacco products in Moore’s pocket. Moore was taken into custody for unlawful drug paraphernalia, underage nicotine possession, two counts of possession with intent, and firearm possession during a dangerous felony on July 10th.

18-year-old Henry Clark caught with multiple guns & crack cocaine during traffic stop

18-year-old Henry Clark was seen driving his car with malfunctioning brake lights on July 9th. When officers contacted Clark, he told them he was 18 and identified himself with a photo of his TN Drivers License. While interacting with Clark, officers observed several lighters and tobacco wrappers in plain view. When officers asked Clark if he had been smoking, he replied that it was only a “black.” Officers asked Clark out of his car and conducted a probable cause search. The search yielded a Colt M1911 handgun with its serial number scratched off, 20.9 grams of marijuana, and two baggies of cocaine and crack cocaine. Officers also found another handgun under the passenger seat. Clark was taken into custody for fake identification, controlled substance, drug paraphernalia, firearm during a felony, and nicotine possession under the age of 21 on July 10th.

Keith Caldwell Jr. attacks baby-momma after scrolling through her Facebook messages

28-year-old Keith Bernard Caldwell Jr. had an altercation with the mother of his child, Ciauna Washington, on the afternoon of May 7th. Washington called officers to a Safe Harbor Drive residence, advising them that Caldwell Jr. wanted to play a game on her phone, so he grabbed her phone. Caldwell Jr. then scrolled through her Facebook messages before throwing her phone onto the ground. Then, he confronted Washington, punched her in the face repeatedly, and wrapped his arm around her neck. Caldwell Jr proceeded to strangle her, hindering her breathing until he released her. Washington said when she exited the apartment, Caldwell Jr. grabbed her and threw her into a wooden fence. Officers noticed she had visible injuries from the incident, so they called an ambulance to check on her well-being. Then, medics transported her to Skyline Hospital. A warrant was issued for Caldwell Jr.’s arrest.

On May 27th, patrolling officers observed a black Lincoln sedan traveling on Donelson Pike with a tinted windshield and darker-than-legal tinted windows. When officers got closer to the Lincoln, they noticed a dark-tinted license cover obstructing the view of the license plate. Officers initiated a traffic stop near the I-40 East entrance ramp. While approaching, officers noticed a strong odor of marijuana and spoke with the driver, Caldwell Jr. Officers later discovered Caldwell Jr. had a suspended driver’s license and an active warrant. He consented to a search of his vehicle, during which officers located 31 grams of marijuana next to an empty vacuum-sealed bag, 13 grams of methamphetamine and fentanyl divided into three smaller amounts, as well as a digital scale under the driver’s seat. Caldwell Jr. was taken into custody for driving with a suspended license, possession of a controlled substance with intent, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, felony possession of Fentanyl, felony possession of marijuana, and aggravated assault.

Jeremy Whatley sexually assaults roommate, found in his underwear with 5 ounces of marijuana

38-year-old Jeremy Whatley inappropriately touched Whitney King at her Morrison Street residence on May 2nd. King called the police to her friend’s Bismark Drive home, where she advised officers that she and Whatley had been living together for about two months. She stated that he had groped her breasts and buttocks multiple times since he moved in. King added that after they had a conversation today, she started walking to her room when Whatley grabbed her from behind. Whatley wrapped his arm around her, trying to force her face toward his, attempting to kiss her. King said she pushed him away and locked herself inside her room, telling him to leave her alone. Whatley responded by banging on her door for a while and told her, “You got it coming!” King told police that she no longer feels safe at her Morrison Street home and that she believes it is only a matter of time before he assaults her again or worse. She told officers that she had to take the bus today to get to her friend’s home, where she would stay for the time being. A warrant was issued for Whatley’s arrest.

Then, around 1 a.m. on May 20th, officers responded to a call regarding a person being shot at a Pebble Brook residence. When officers arrived, they located Whatley banging on random doors, appearing to be under the influence. Officers noticed Whatley was partially naked with only his underwear and shoes on. Officers identified him, discovered he had two outstanding warrants, and detained him. During a subsequent search, officers found a small dime bag with .8 grams of an unknown white powdery substance, a bag with 5 ounces/141 grams of marijuana subdivided into five individual bags, and a fully loaded handgun on the porch. While on the way to booking, Whatley was irate, sweating profusely while threatening officers with physical harm. Whatley was taken into custody for domestic assault, sexual battery, felony drug possession, simple possession of a controlled substance, and felony weapon possession.

Miguel Garcia steals Ford F-150 Raptor, tells police “his friend gave him the truck”

30-year-old Miguel Garcia was caught stealing a vehicle on May 5th near an intersection On Korean Veterans Boulevard and Hermitage Avenue. Officers responded to a motor vehicle theft report at a Middleton Street apartment residence, speaking with Robert Burnett. Burnett stated that his white Ford F150 was parked at the residence and that it was no longer there when he returned to the residence. Officers then confirmed that the vehicle was not towed and that the victim did not owe any money on the truck before putting a complete report on the vehicle and entering it as stolen. About an hour later, officers responding to an unrelated call noticed the vehicle at the intersection of Korean Veterans Boulevard and Hermitage Avenue. Officers immediately got behind the vehicle and confirmed the license plate before calling the helicopter and initiating a traffic stop. Officers performed a felony takedown and searched the car, finding two glass pipes with residue.
Officers then spoke with Garcia, who stated he was walking around with his friend when he and his friend walked over to Middleton Street. Garcia said his friend opened the door to the truck and got in the driver’s seat. Garcia also claimed that he believed the vehicle was his friend’s and that his friend gave him the truck to use for work. Garcia could not provide a name or description of the friend, and there was no one else with Garcia at the time of the traffic stop. Robert Burnett, the owner of the vehicle, arrived on the scene to recover the vehicle and searched through it, giving all of the items not belonging to him to officers. Burnett gave officers a black backpack that Garcia confirmed was his. The backpack contained marijuana, the vehicle’s registration, and boat keys. The vehicle was valued at more than $60,000. Officers discovered that Garcia did not have a valid driver’s license. Garcia was taken into custody and charged with Property theft, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving without a license on May 6th.

Nghia Nguyen caught with felonious amount of ecstasy pills

22-year-old Nghia Nguyen was taken into custody for a felony drug offense on April 22nd. On December 10th, 2023, detectives conducted a “controlled buy” operation with a criminal informant. The informant called Nguyen and was directed to go to a parking lot near Lebanon Pike and Central Pike, where officers observed via surveillance that Ngyuen provided a felonious number of pills for the pre-agreed amount of money. After the informant left, officers field-tested the narcotics, and they returned positive for ecstasy. On April 2nd, 2024, a warrant was issued for Nguyen’s arrest.

DCSO Officers find bounty of booty in bussy of inmate — Craig Briley’s #PrisonPocket

26-year-old Craig Briley was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail after police determined he was a felon in possession of a handgun while riding in a car with William Anderson and Jada Stange, and she told police the gun wasn’t hers, despite the fact she was able to legally possess one.

Once at the Jail, located a homemade ‘tube’, created from electrical tape, deep inside Briley’s rectum by Officer Brian Burton which contained 24 grams of methamphetamine, 28 grams of marijuana, and a MicroSD card. Also found attached to Briley’s pen*s was a metal pill bottle with 5 ecstasy pills and another gram of meth. Briley is jailed in lieu of a $35,000 bond.
