Vanell Coble spent his 26th birthday in the Metro Nashville Jail this week, as he was arrested two days prior after his mother says he knocked on her door and once she opened it, he grabbed her by the shirt and pushed her backward ten feet into the apartment, resulting in a scratch to her forehead. Coble’s bond is set at $1,000, and there’s a hold on his release from Smyrna Police due to multiple outstanding probation and failure to appear warrants.

| Police responded to 300 E. Webster Bid K Apt 24 (Gibson Creek Apartments – Madison) for a report of a domestic disturbance between two individuals that are related by blood. Police spoke with the victim (Coble, Paula) who stated that the defendant at around 2150 hours voluntarily left the apartment. Ms. Coble stated that a few minutes after the defendant left the residence, he returned, knocked on the door, once Ms. Coble answered the door the defendant for unknown residents grabbed her by her shirt and began to push her backward some 10 feet. Ms. Coble stated that during the altercation with her son she sustained a minor scratch on her forehead. While speaking with Ms. Coble, police observed a visible injury on her forehead area. |
