27-year-old Austin Lee McClanahan is charged with the assault of two women over the weekend, one of them being his wife, Genesis Hernandez, the other being Gabrielle Scoggins. Court records show McClanahan “got drunk” and become agitated, punching and kicking both victims. He is free on a $3,500 bond.

| VICTIM GABRIELLE SCOGGINS: Officers responded to a domestic disturbance at 82 Evanston ave. the defendant and victim are not in a domestic relationship. when officers arrived, the victim stated that the defendant “got drunk” and became agitated. the victim stated that the defendant proceeded to punch her in the face after he had kicked his within the leg. the victim stated that she wanted to prosecute for being punched in the face. officers had probable cause to arrest the defendant for assault based on the statement of the victims present. VICTIM GENESIS HERNANDEZ: officers responded to a domestic disturbance at 82 Evanston ave. the defendant and victim are in an intimate domestic relationship. when officers arrived, the victim stated that the defendant “got drunk” and became agitated. the victim stated that the defendant proceeded to kick her in the leg. -the victim stated that she tried to avoid further contact with the defendant because she was afraid of him. officers made contact with the defendant and took him into custody without further incident |
