Wesley Sharp booked after walking around drunk in Downtown Nashville

20-year-old Wesley Sharp was seen publicly intoxicated while near 2nd Avenue North and Church Street on August 25th. Officers were dispatched for a separate incident, and when they arrived, they spoke with Sharp. However, while talking with him, officers noticed Sharp had watery eyes and slurred speech. When asked how old he was, Sharp admitted to officers that he was only 20. Officers then asked how long Sharp had been drinking, to which he replied he had only been drinking for about 30 minutes. Sharp was then deemed intoxicated and taken into custody for public intoxication and alcohol consumption under 21.

DUI: Shionkeriyah Scott, 20, crashes car after weaving through traffic at 100 mph on I-24

20-year-old Shionkeriyah Mar’Que Scott says she had “one shot of tequila” prior to driving on I-24 and crashing her vehicle. She states the reason she was traveling at 100 mph and weaving is she was “running late to get home”. She failed field sobriety tests and blew a 0.118% on a breathalyzer. She is free on pre-trial release, charged with DUI, reckless driving, and underage consumption.

Downtown street vendor charged with underage drinking, days later — Gabriel Ryan Tyson

Metro Nashville Police met 19-year-old Gabriel Ryan Tyson in downtown Nashville in January during a routine check of street vendor licenses. They noticed he was dancing around on the sidewalk and drinking from an open bottle of Charles Smith Kung Fu Girl Riesling. They issued him a citation for vending without a license, he poured out the open container of wine, and everyone went about their night. Sometime later, the officers realized Tyson was only 19-years-old, and three days after the citation, Officer Shawn Kaelin swore out the pettiest warrants of his career, charging the teen with underage drinking and underage possession of alcohol.

Vodka with cousins leads to train wreck for Antioch woman

20-year-old Hailey Vilaysith was charged with driving under the influence and underage consumption when video footage showed the car she was driving collided with a train at a railroad crossing. She told officers the driver fled the scene.
