Reannon Craig was driving with an expired tag at N. Gallatin Pk & Edgemeade on Wednesday when an officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop by activating blue lights and sirens. Craig refused to stop and continued to flee through a residential area.

She eventually stopped her car and began to flee on foot, while chased by MNPD. Craig’s flight was eventually stopped when officers deployed a taser on her. Once on the ground from the taser impact, she refused to put her hands behind her back, but was taken into custody after a brief struggle.

Reannon Craig was placed in the back of a patrol vehicle and read her miranda rights while waiting for a female officer to arrive to search her. Once the female officer responded to the location, a large baggie of crystal methamphetamine was located between her buttocks, weighing in at 59 grams, estimated at just under $5,000 in price.

Officers then observed the back of the patrol car, and described it as “there was crystal methamphetamine on the floorboard, backseat, and in the door pocket of the police vehicle”. Craig admitted that she was trying to get rid of the evidence while in the backseat of the car.

An inventory search of the car she was driving was completed, and produced a Ruger 9 mm on the driver’s seat, multiple syringes, digital scales, glass pipes, & Dilaudid pills.

Reannon Craig, who is a convicted felon out of Dickson for sale of narcotics in 2016, is charged with driving on a revoked license, felony possession w/intent, drug paraphernalia, possession, weapon(felon drug offense), evading arrest, evading arrest in a motor vehicle, resisting arrest, and tampering with evidence. She is currently held on a $48,500 bond.

There was a passenger in the car, Jeremy Knecht, who admitted that he does meth and injects it, and is also a felon out of Dickson County. He is charged with paraphernalia, and felon in possession of a handgun. Knecht is held on an $11,000 bond.
