27-year-old Joe Visor was charged with possession of oxycodone and contraband in a penal institution after detectives watched him perform a hand-to-hand transaction, and 163 oxycodone pills were located in his crotch at booking.
On December 8th, Metro Nashville detectives observed Joe Visor perform a hand-to-hand transaction at 5760 Old Hickory Boulevard. Detectives followed Joe and noticed his temporary tag expired in late November. A traffic stop was initiated, and Joe pulled over slowly. Three blue pills were observed on the floorboard of his vehicle, and he stated he did not know where they came from.
Two more were found in the center console, and Joe was discovered to have active warrants out of Williamson County. He was asked if he had anything else on his person due to how long it took him to pull over. Detectives informed him if anything was found on him in jail, it would be a felony. Joe claimed he did not have any more narcotics on his person.
When he got to booking, Davidson County Sheriff’s employees located 163 full pills and several crushed pills in his crotch, later identified to be Oxycodone. A blue Amphetamine pill was also located. The total value of the narcotics was approximately $5,000.
Joe Visor was arrested and charged with contraband in a penal institution, possession of oxycodone, and had active warrants for resisting arrest, criminal impersonation, assault causing bodily injury, vandalism, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. His bond was set at $63,500, and he additionally has an out of county hold.
