28-year-old Clinton Waschow, Operations Manager for Jason Aldean’s Bar in downtown Nashville, told police he had “two drinks” at Aldean’s before they found him drunkenly driving past officers who were blocking a bridge for roadwork. Officers noted: “his pants were unzipped at the time of this arrest”.

Early Friday morning, Metro Nashville Police responded to a DUI investigation at 227 Shelby Ave in East Nashville, after Clinton Waschow drove a black Jeep SUV past a patrol vehicle that was blocking access to the KVB Bridge, due to road work. He did not initially stop or even acknowledge the presence of officers or emergency equipment.

During questioning, police say Waschow admitted to drinking multiple drinks, including two at the bar which he works, Jason Aldean’s Rooftop Bar & Kitchen. Officers noticed his pants were unzipped, and that he smelled of alcohol. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was transported to Metro General after a search warrant was granted for his blood.

Clinton Carl Waschow, 28, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail at 4:31 a.m. Friday, charged with #DUI driving under the influence. He is free on pre-trial release and is scheduled to appear in court later this month. Waschow moved to Nashville in May to take the Operations Manager position at Jason Aldean’s.
