Goodlettsville Police found 19-year-old Steven Ellis passed out in a vehicle at Motel 6 on Cartwright Street just after 5 a.m. Sunday. Ellis had his feet on the ground, laying face-first into the passenger seat of a vehicle with the door open and his pants below his knees. He was unable to provide a room number, nor any friend’s information, and was unable to care for himself. He admitted to being under the influence of a stimulant. He was booked into jail, charged with public intoxication. Scoop: Wilson covered Ellis in October of 2020 after he fired a gun at a man who spoke to his girlfriend at a convenience store.
ARREST WARRANT / AFFIDAVIT:
On 12/19/21 at approximately 0515 hours, officers were dispatched to 323 Cartwright St at Motel 6 in reference to an unconscious male hanging out of a vehicle passed out. Upon arrival, officers observed the defendant unconscious with his feet on the ground and laying face first within the front passenger seat of the vehicle with the door open.
Officers were able to wake the defendant and observed his eyes to be dilated beyond normal. When asked if he was under and medication, he stated he was on a stimulant. The defendant couldn’t remember the room number to the hotel his friends were in and also had his pants down below his knees. He was placed into custody for public intoxication and transported to Davidson County booking.
