22-year-old Mary Louise Williams reportedly went and got her boyfriend’s handgun and threatened to shoot him with it when he told her he wanted to end the relationship on December 12th. After a struggle over the gun, her boyfriend, DayLaquan Kelly, was able to take it from Mary and place it in his pocket. Mary then produced a taser and used it on the victim several times all across his body, resulting in swelling and marks. That same day at 11 a.m., the victim was sitting in his living room when Mary’s voice suddenly began to broadcast from his home security camera, saying she could see him and knew he had company over there. He immediately unplugged the power to the camera.
90 minutes later, the victim went outside to walk his two dogs and found Mary carrying a baseball bat while walking away from his car, which now had three broken windows, a broken tail light, and 4 flat tires that had been clearly stabbed with a knife, according to officers. She then attempted to beat him with the metal baseball bat as he confronted her. Mary Louise Williams is charged with stalking, two counts of felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and felony vandalism. She is jailed in lieu of a $27,500 bond.

| On 12/12/2021 the victim and the defendant were at his home, 1046 Jefferson St, when they got into a verbal altercation. The victim stated that the defendant saw some messages in his phone and got upset. The victim stated he then told the defendant he wanted to break up and she went to grab his handgun and threatened to shoot him with it. Both parties started to fight over the handgun until he got it in his possession. Once the victim got the firearm into his pocket the defendant then brought out a taser and tased the defendant multiple times in multiple areas. The tasing caused swelling and left marks. When officers originally arrived on scene there wasn’t any swelling. Officers returned to the victim’s home after another incident happened with the defendant where she vandalized his vehicle and tried to hit him with a bat, see incident number 2021-0631213. 2021-0631213 On 12/12/2021 at approximately 1100 hours Mr. Kelly was inside his residence when his security camera, which views his living room, began broadcasting Ms. Williams’ voice. She had obtained access to his camera security system and had been observing him and his household through the camera before projecting her voice to tell him she could see him and knew he had company over. Mr. Kelly disconnected power to the camera immediately after. On 12/12/2021 at approximately 1230 hours Mr. Kelly exited his apartment to walk his two dogs and found his ex-girlfriend Ms. Williams only several feet from and walking away from his vandalized car carrying a metal baseball bat. The car had three broken windows including the rear window, a broken tail light, and all four tires had clearly been stabbed with a knife. The glass was so freshly broken that upon officer arrival small bits were still falling freely from a slight breeze. Mr. Kelly was unable to capture her vandalizing the vehicle on recording but provided a recording taken immediately afterward of her carrying the bat and attempting to strike him with it. On 12/12/2021 at approximately 1230 hours Mr. Kelly exited his apartment to walk his two dogs and found his ex-girlfriend Ms. Williams walking from his vandalized car carrying a metal baseball bat. When he confronted her immediately she pointed the bat at him, advanced on him, and swung the bat to hit him while telling him he would have to shoot her. Mr. Kelly provided a cell phone camera recording of this incident as well. |
