Senior Citizen Michael Peek charged with DUI downtown after midnight in odd fit of road rage

68-year-old Michael Peek was driving his vehicle just after midnight in downtown Nashville when he stopped near 400 Broadway in front of Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row and angrily exited his vehicle, stumbling in the process. As officers working the Entertainment District Initiative approached him to see what was happening, he reentered the vehicle. He admitted to having three White Russian drinks before driving and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. He would later blow a 0.136% BAC on a breathalyzer.

Matthew Hinrichs too drunk for Dierks Bentley’s downtown bar

Metro Nashville Police responded to Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row just after 8 p.m. Monday to find 37-year-old Matthew Hinrichs in handcuffs, courtesy of bar security, after he had caused a disturbance at the venue. Officers say he was unable to stand on his own and reeked of alcohol. Hinrichs stated he had been drinking since 4 p.m.

Man caught on video stealing liquor at Whiskey Row; comes back for more

37-year-old Jeffrey Jones was charged with two counts of burglary after security cameras caught him stealing alcohol from Whiskey Row and a security guard posted because he damaged the door, caught him entering the establishment again later.
