Christian Grecco deemed too drunk for downtown Nashville

30-year-old Christian Grecco was found unconscious near Representative John Lewis Way and Demonbreun Street around 11:32 p.m. on April 27th. Officers arrived and were advised that Grecco declined medical attention. Officers told him that, due to his level of intoxication, he should go to the hospital, which he refused. After the medics rendered aid, Grecco told them he was returning to his hotel. Officers asked him where it was located, but he could not provide that information. Grecco told officers he was in Nashville with his friends but could not reach them. Grecco was deemed a danger to himself and was taken into custody for public intoxication on April 28th.

Anthony Swank speeds 94 mph down I-65 in his Corvette

35-year-old Anthony Louis Swank was speeding on I-65 North in the early hours of November 22nd, 2022. Officers observed him going 94 mph in a 70 mph zone and conducted a traffic stop. Then, he was cited for the incident. Swank was booked on the citation of speeding over 75 mph on April 26th, 2024.

Whitney Ochab causes crash on Nolensville Pike, tells officers she had shrooms

42-year-old Whitney Ochab had a car accident near Kroger on Nolensville Pike late April 26th. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Zirevan Suleyman, a witness, who stated he observed her crashing into two other vehicles, causing damage. When officers approached her car, they noticed she was asleep in her passenger seat. They woke her up, and she appeared to be confused and showed signs of impairment. Ochab needed assistance exiting her vehicle and could not stand independently, so officers did not prompt her with sobriety tests. She told them that she had taken a prescription pill at 5:00 p.m. and later added that she had some “shrooms.” During their interaction, Ochab nodded off repeatedly and had to be woken up multiple times. Officers alerted medics, who deemed it necessary to transport her to Nashville General Hospital for evaluation, where she told them she had taken Xanax before driving. She was informed of implied consent and agreed to provide a blood sample. Ochab was released from the hospital and was taken into custody for driving under the influence.

Bura Lawson III caught covering woman’s Ring doorbell camera in feces

57-year-old Bura Lawson III placed a plastic grocery bag with feces on Andrea McKellar’s Ring doorbell camera at her 28th Avenue North residence on March 20th. This was captured on her Ring Doorbell camera. Officers encountered Lawson III on March 13th and March 23rd, which was filmed on their body cam. Then, officers compared both sets of footage and identified Lawson III. On March 28th, a warrant was issued for his arrest. Lawson III was booked on the summons of vandalism on April 23rd.

Nilufar Makhsudova leaves child alone in car to shop at One Hundred Oaks Mall

31-year-old Nilufar Makhsudova left her child in her car unattended near One Hundred Oaks Mall on Thomson Lane in the early hours of March 28th. At around 11:10 a.m., a concerned citizen observed this and alerted VUPD. Makhsudova returned to her vehicle around 11:30 a.m. and told officers she left her baby in the car to go inside the shopping center. Makhsudova was then cited for the incident. Makhsudova was later booked on the citation of an unattended child in a motor vehicle on April 23rd.

18-year-old Abdulrahman Elsaadawy drag races down Murfreesboro Pike

18-year-old Abdulrahman Elsaadawy was observed driving slowly next to another vehicle before speeding off near Murfreesboro Pike and Foster Avenue on March 30th .Officers conducted a traffic stop, where they detained and mirandized Elsaadawy. Elsaadawy then admitted to “taking off” after the car next to him. Then, officers cited him for the occurrence. Elsaadawy was later booked on the citation of drag racing on April 23rd.

Sydney Justice speeds down I-40 West, tells officers she was late picking up her son

26-year-old Sydney Lane Justice was speeding on I-40 West in the afternoon hours of April 23rd, 2023. Officers observed her going 91 mph in a 70 mph zone and conducted a traffic stop. Justice told officers she was late picking up her son. Officers cited her for the incident that day. Then, Justice failed to appear in court on August 18th, 2023. Justice was booked on the citation of speeding over 75 mph on April 25th, 2024.

Robert Williamson struggles to stand up after drinking at Nashville International Airport

37-year-old Robert James Williamson was taken into custody for public intoxication on April 25th.  At around 9:25 p.m., officers were called to the TSA checkpoint at BNA Airport regarding an intoxicated individual, later identified as Williamson. When they arrived, they noticed he struggled to stand up and reeked of alcohol. Officers repeatedly asked him to provide them with his driver’s license, during which he kept forgetting what he was doing. Then, Williamson told them he traveled with a co-worker, who was already at her gate. So, officers asked him if he could call her to ensure his safety, but he did not. Officers deemed him unable to care for himself and then detained him for the occurrence.

Kerrianne Horvatin deemed too drunk for Nashville International Airport

45-year-old Kerrianne Horvatin was taken into custody for public intoxication on April 25th. At around 8:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Southwest Ticket Counter at BNA Airport. Upon arrival, they located Horvatin and spoke with Southwest Airlines employees, who advised them that she had been denied boarding due to her level of intoxication, adding that she had fallen nearly four times. Then, Horvatin told officers that she had consumed multiple alcoholic beverages before arriving at the airport, including while riding in her Uber. She could not locate her items, refused assistance finding a hotel for the night, and demanded to stay on airport property. She was then detained for the incident.

DUI: Paul Armstrong swerves between lanes in pickup truck after leaving Waffle House

57-year-old Paul Landon Armstrong swerved in his GMC pickup truck near White Bridge Pike and Woodmont Boulevard around 10:44 p.m. on April 24th. After he crossed the double yellow line, officers conducted a traffic stop, where they approached the passenger side and noticed he reeked of alcohol. Armstrong then stated he had drank two beers at an unknown location on Centennial Boulevard before going to Waffle House. Armstrong consented to sobriety tests and showed multiple signs of impairment. Then, after being read implied consent, he did not tell officers if he refused or agreed to provide a sample and requested to call an attorney. Armstrong was taken into custody for driving under the influence on April 25th.
