20-year-old Keleshia Massey was charged with assault of an officer, domestic assault, vandalism, resisting arrest, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after wrestling with her ex-boyfriend and stabbing his current girlfriend.
On October 19th, Raymond White and his brother, Williams, stated Keleshia Massey, White’s ex-girlfriend, went to their apartment to argue with him.
White told Massey to leave but she continued to argue with him. He pushed her out of the door and she retaliated by punching him. Massey admitted to punching White, leaving a knot on the back of his head. The two began to fight as White tried to get Massey out of the apartment which moved out to the breezeway and Massey grabbed Davis’ gun. It fell on the ground and they began to wrestle over the gun causing it to fire two to three times.
Keyontae Wilkerson, White’s current girlfriend, arrived at the scene shortly after the shots were fired. Massey admitted to officers she ran up to Wilkerson’s car, punching and breaking the windshield. The two women began to fight and Massey stabbed Wilkerson in the hand with a screwdriver. Wilkerson required medical help from the Nashville Fire Department.
When Metro Nashville Police Officers Cynthia Quirouette and Gregory Scott arrived, Williams was holding Massey to prevent her from causing more harm. Once police got her into their custody, Massey pulled away, refusing to cooperate and held on onto the handrail of the staircase. She continued to struggle with the officers as they walked her down the stairs. Massey kicked Officer Quirouette in the legs as she searched her and kicked Officer Scott in the groin during the struggle. While in the back of the patrol car Massey stated to Officer Quirouette that she would kill White and Wilkerson and that she would “get” Wilkerson for getting her arrested.
Keleshia Massey was arrested and charged with two counts of assault of officer bodily injury, assault domestic bodily injury, vandalism, resisting arrest, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She was released on a $16,000 bond.
