35-year-old Brandi Sawyer has been indicted by the Grand Jury, charged with one count of abuse of an elderly or vulnerable adult by a caregiver. The indictment alleges that Brandy was a caregiver to Rutelia Sawyer in November 2020 when she knowingly neglected her, causing serious physical harm. She is held in lieu of a $20,000 bond.
Brandi A. Sawyer was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on June 16th, charged with aggravated assault on a caregiver. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $20,000.
