Ryan Long throws cup of ice at police cars from 3rd floor of Jason Aldean’s Rooftop Bar

22-year-old Ryan Michael Long threw a cup of ice from the third floor of Jason Aldean’s Rooftop Bar late March 24th. The ice hit two patrol cars and a pedestrian on the sidewalk. Officers went and advised security at the establishment of the incident. Security told police that they had witnessed Long throwing the cup. Security brought Long down from the rooftop and handed him to the authorities. Long was taken into custody for disorderly conduct.

Hy Ma booked after screaming at police, kicking items outside Rippy’s Honky Tonk

45-year-old Hy Ma was seen kicking items outside of Rippy’s Honky Tonk on March 4th. Officers approached Ma and noticed a strong odor of alcohol. They tried to give Ma a warning and told him to stop and go home, but he began screaming at them. Officers proceeded to give him another warning to leave the area, but he continued to yell at them. Hy Ma was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

Tourist Hector Carmona attacks bystanders outside Losers Bar in Midtown

23-year-old Hector Jose Carmona had an altercation with Nino Giannulli-Chavez at Loser’s Bar on Division Street early December 30th. Officers arrived and observed Giannulli-Chavez on the ground, bleeding from the back of his head, and Carmona handcuffed by the bar security. Carmona was visibly intoxicated as they overheard his slurred speech. Bar security and other witnesses advised officers that Carmona was kicked out of the bar. Then, he stood outside the bar, starting fights with anyone who entered or exited. When Giannulli-Chavez was leaving, Carmona started arguing with him and punched him in the back of his head, causing him to fall and hit his head on the pavement. Giannulli-Chavez was losing consciousness and had a large laceration on the back of his head, so he was transported to Vanderbilt by EMS. Carmona was taken into custody for aggravated assault, public intoxication, and disorderly conduct.

Melissa Grisales drunk and disorderly at Flamingo Cocktail Club

25-year-old Melissa Grisales was involved in an altercation at the Flamingo Cocktail Club in the early hours of Saturday morning. Police arrived at the disturbance call to find Grisales walking around outside the bar. She reeked of alcohol and stated she had no memory of anything that occurred. She was unsure of her current location and just wanted to go home, according to officers. Due to her level of intoxication, she was taken into custody and transported to booking. 

DUI: Joshua Turner crashes car leaving parking lot

36-year-old Joshua Freeman Turner was involved in a car accident at 15th Avenue on December 3rd. Officers arrived and were advised by security from a nearby business that Turner was drinking before getting into the accident in the parking lot. Turner consented to sobriety tests, performed poorly, refused to provide a blood or breath sample, and was taken into custody for driving under the influence and implied consent.

Aiden Duffy jailed for public intoxication after being found trying to break into vehicle on Blair Boulevard

26-year-old Aiden Duffy was found intoxicated at Blair Boulevard in the early hours of November 3rd . Officers were dispatched regarding him knocking on and pulling the door handles of a car parked outside a Blair Boulevard residence. Officers observed Duffy leaning on the resident’s vehicle as they arrived and could not give them an answer as to why he was there, where he was, or where he was going. Duffy was visibly impaired and told officers he had not “drank that much” before being taken into custody for public intoxication.
