Cody Magee found passed out drunk in fetal position at Omni Hotel

30-year-old Cody Magee trespassed at the Omni Hotel in the early hours of March 30th. An off-duty officer requested police’s assistance regarding an intoxicated individual, later identified as Magee. When the officers arrived at the hotel, they noticed he was sleeping on a couch in the hotel lobby. Officers noticed Magee was in the fetal position, reeking of alcohol. The hotel staff attempted to identify him to see if he was a guest but were unable to do so. Officers tried to get Magee to sit up repeatedly, but he kept returning to the fetal position. Officers eventually located his driver’s license, and the hotel confirmed he was not a guest, adding that they had a valid trespass waiver on file for Magee. Cody Magee was deemed unable to care for himself and was taken into custody for criminal trespass and public intoxication.

Dakota Baker loiters outside Circle K gas station, caught with crack pipes

28-year-old Dakota Lee Baker and Edwin Meija-Alvarez were loitering outside Circle K Gas Station on Murfreesboro Pike while it was closed in the early morning of March 27th. Officers initially observed them at 12:44 a.m. in front of the store. Officers warned them that they were trespassing and that they should leave if they were not buying anything. Then, at 4:22 a.m., officers noticed the men were still standing in front of the gas station. An employee advised officers that the men had loitered on and off for the last few days at the location. Officers detained him, during which they found he had a glass pipe with burn marks. Further investigation led to officers locating three glass pipes with burn marks with chore boy stuffed inside, a plastic straw with residue, and a metal push rod. Officers believe that they may have been smoking crack. Baker was taken into custody for the unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and criminal trespassing.

Edwin Mejia-Alvarez loiters outside Circle K gas station multiple times

36-year-old Edwin Meija-Alvarez and Dakota Lee Baker were loitering outside Circle K Gas Station on Murfreesboro Pike while it was closed in the early hours of March 27th. Officers observed this and advised them they could only be on the property if they were conducting legal business repeatedly. Then, officers detained Alvarez because he had been warned numerous times throughout the weekend and determined his behavior would continue. Officers searched Alvarez and located a metal pipe with burnt residue, consistent with being used as a crack pipe.  Meija-Alvarez was taken into custody for criminal trespassing and the unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

Naquin Dickson booked after trespassing at Christ Cathedral Church

67-year-old Naquin Dickson was observed her trespassing at the Christ Cathedral Church on February 17th. Officers responded for an alarm and arrived at the church. Officers checked the area and did not find anything unusual. As officers were beginning to leave, they observed Dickson emerge from inside the church and stand in the doorway. Officers spoke with Dickson, she told them that she had a blue jacket with her cigarettes sitting just inside the doorway. This confirmed that Dickson had trespassed inside the church. The church has a valid trespass waiver on file for Dickson. Dickson was booked on the citation on March 20th.

Drunk and Naked: David Lariviere breaks into Bourbon Street Blues Bar, says he had “a stomach ache”

49-year-old David Lariviere caused the security alarm to go off at Bourbon Street Blues and Boogie Bar in the early hours of March 25th. When the officers arrived, they noticed Lariviere fully naked, walking away from them. Officers told Lariviere to sit down and talk with them. He told officers he had a “stomach ache” and was “using the bathroom.” Officers observed feces on his leg while detaining him. The bar was closed three hours before officers arrived. As officers investigated, they found that Lariviere had soiled himself on the second floor after finding his clothes. Lariviere told officers that he had four alcoholic beverages, then said he had nine drinks, and then lastly said he had seven. Lariviere was taken into custody for criminal trespass.

Chelsea Sharp refuses to leave Rest Haven Motel, tells police “Y’all are going to have to drag me out of here”

43-year-old Chelsea Sharp was seen refusing to leave a room at the Rest Haven Motel on March 18th. Officers arrived at the mentioned location and contacted the manager, Dev Desai. Desai stated that he wanted an individual who did not sign the rental agreement for a room to leave due to a noise complaint. When officers contacted Sharp, they informed her that she needed to go. Sharp stated, ” I’m not leaving. Y’all are going to have to drag me out of here.” An officer asked Sharp numerous times to leave the hotel, but Sharp sat on the floor and said, “No.”  Sharp was taken into custody and charged with criminal trespassing.

Adael Hernandez charged with criminal trespass after breaking into building to sleep

23-year-old Adael Santos Hernandez was booked on the citation of criminal trespassing on March 12th. On February 24th, around 5:45 a.m., officers were dispatched to Space Park South Drive regarding a break-in. When they arrived, they located Hernandez inside the building. Hernandez advised officers that he had broken in there to sleep, adding that he stayed in a tent in the woods behind the building. Hernandez further explained that he entered through the back door using a piece of metal. The location’s owners previously told him not to come back repeatedly. Hernandez was cited for the incident and booked on the citation on March 12th.

Dannel Kubi refuses to leave DMV after not receiving ID

31-year-old Dannel Kubi refused to leave the DMV at the Tennessee Towers near 7th Avenue North early March 6th. Officers arrived and spoke with Kubi, who told them he could not get a state ID and would only leave once he was given one. The DMV workers advised Kubi that he did not have the proper paperwork and could not receive a state ID. DMV workers asked him to leave repeatedly, but Kubi kept telling them he would not. Kubi was taken into custody for criminal trespass.

Hopkinsville Musician Tulei Yano assaults multiple women at Big Jimmy’s Bar

41-year-old Hopkinsville Musician Tulei Yano assaulted multiple women at Big Jimmy’s Bar in the early hours of February 24th. Security for the establishment flagged officers down and advised them that the attacker, Yano, was inside the closed construction site on 2nd Avenue North. Officers arrived at the site and noticed Yano exhibiting symptoms of intoxication before getting him to exit the construction site. Yano was unaware of his whereabouts and was deemed unable to care for himself. Officers then spoke with Brandi Renea Stimson, an employee at Big Jimmy’s Bar who Yano assaulted. Stimson advised them that she was checking identification at the entry door when Yano grabbed her shoulders from behind and pulled her toward him. Then, after Stimson told him not to do that, Yano entered the bar and assaulted another woman before being kicked out. A short time later, Yano started staring at Stimson from the construction site on 2nd Avenue North. Yano began violently shaking the fence with his hands, causing her to believe that he was targeting her and may climb over the fence to get her. Yano was taken into custody for public intoxication, criminal trespassing, and assault.

California Tourist Roman Garcia banned from multiple establishments in one night

37-year-old California Tourist Roman Garcia was being disorderly at Snitch on Printers Alley in the early hours of February 24th. Security at the establishment spoke with officers when they arrived and advised them that Garcia was kicked out for his behavior and put on a trespass waiver, preventing him from returning. Then, Garcia walked around the corner to Dream Hotel on 4th Avenue North and caused a disturbance there as well, so they also put him on a trespass waiver. Garcia continued this behavior when officers approached him, and he was taken into custody for disorderly conduct, criminal trespass, and public intoxication.
