Gelber Alvarado Cux charged with assault during ‘fit of rage’

33-year-old Gelber Alvarado Cux was charged with domestic assault after his wife and brother-in-law told police that he assaulted them in a fit of rage due to allegations of assault toward their child. On July 21st, police responded to a domestic call and utilized a translator to speak to Kindy Azvcely, Gelber’s wife, who told them that she witnessed Gelber holding their child in a way to restrict the child’s breathing. She stated that she confronted him, and he denied it and became irate. A physical altercation occurred between him and his wife, she grabbed his shirt resulting in her falling, and he began to kick her. She escaped the house and ran outside to tell her brother, Erwin Iran, who spoke with Gelber. Gelber assaulted Erwin too. He denied the entire encounter to the police, yet they determined him to be the primary aggressor due to Kindy and Erwin’s account.

Sharon Rutherford charged with domestic assault of daughter during family squabble

73-year-old Sharon Rutherford was jailed on July 8th after police responded to Plantation Drive for a domestic incident. Rutherford told police that her daughter Ms. Green has bipolar disorder and was trying to throw her out of the house. She said that Ms. Green was trying to use the police to get her in trouble. When Ms. Green tried to call the police, she took the phone away and tried to cancel the call. According to Ms. Green, it’s her mother that has a mental health illness and was attacking her, so she tried to call the police, and her mom scratched her as she tried to grab the phone away. The officers observed scratch marks on Ms. Green’s arm. Due to the statements and the evidence, Rutherford was determined as the primary aggressor and taken into custody.

Lizannette Ronquillo Dolph assaults boyfriend Christopher Greenhill in downtown Nashville

Police say 29-year-old Missouri tourist Lizannette Dolph Ronquillo caused a large disruption near 2nd & Broadway Wednesday night, causing multiple people to flag down officers for assistance. They arrived to find her in an argument with her boyfriend, Christopher Greenhill. During the altercation, she was also lunging at witnesses to the incident after pushing and slapping the victim. The victim told police the argument was about him seeing his ex-wife. Lizanette, who was extremely intoxicated, was determined to be the primary aggressor and was taken into custody.

Houston Tynes-Clinch jailed after punching sister in face

25-year-old Brian Tynes-Clinch was jailed on July 4th after assaulting his sister when he came home drunk. Police spoke with Cali Tynes-Clinch after the incident, who stated that she was at their home on Kingsbury Drive hanging out with a friend when Brian came home drunk and started arguing about how she got “babied by their parents.” Cali said the argument escalated when Brian pinned her against a wall in the kitchen and then repeatedly punched her in the face. Cali’s friend witnessed the assault and said Cali was punched in the face 3-4 times. Cali and her friend then got in her car and called the police. Police saw pictures of Cali’s face from after the incident that showed redness consistent with her statements.

Cara Duke jailed after grabbing her girlfriend by her ankles during argument

37-year-old Cara Duke was jailed on June 27th after assaulting her girlfriend. Police responded to Selena Drive and spoke with Krystian Cross, who said an argument escalated because her girlfriend was drunk, so she walked to another room in the apartment to get some space. Duke pushed open the door to confront her, and Cross threatened to call the police. Duke then grabbed her girlfriend by the ankles and pulled her towards her. When she stopped, Cross got up and called 911.

22-year-old Lesly Castaneda Ramirez was jailed this week after attacking shoving a pair of soiled underwear into his face, according to police. Officers responded to a domestic disturbance call on May 28 on Hilson Drive and met with Guadalupe Pena, who explained he was in an argument with his girlfriend when she suddenly picked up a pair of soiled underwear and shoved them in his face. He says he used his foot to push her away, at which point she slapped him in the face.

Grant Davidson assaults wife when she insists he speak to his mother-in-law

Police say 50-year-old Grant Davidson was in a verbal altercation with his wife, Jennifer Davidson, in their living room on May 19. She demanded he speak with her mother about the argument and refused. As he walked away, she followed him with the phone, insisting he take it. Davidson then took the phone and reportedly struck his wife in the chest with it. He then pushed her against a wall so hard that she urinated on herself, which officers observed upon arrival. She says he then grabbed her in a “choke hold” for a long period of time before finally letting her go.

Tourist Scott Brown assaults his wife after a man hugged her at Kid Rock’s Bar in Nashville

55-year-old Michigan tourist Scott Brown was jailed on April 28th after pushing his wife when he saw another man hug her at Kid Rock’s on Broadway. Police spoke with Julianne Brown, who said she was dancing on the first floor when a random man came up and hugged her. Her husband saw this and got jealous. He pushed her with both hands, and she fell over. Witnesses told police they saw Mr. Brown push his wife. She had no visible injuries and didn’t need any medical attention. Mr. Brown was transported to booking.

Jarrett Snipe jailed after multiple assaults on girlfriend

31-year-old Jarrett Snipe of BLK Rose Boxing was jailed early Wednesday on three outstanding warrants charging him with domestic and aggravated assaults. In January, his girlfriend Shelby Miller reported he picked her up by her shirt collar and slammed her against a door during an argument. She says he then twisted her shirt collar until she could no longer breathe and lost consciousness. Officers documented injuries from that assault. In March, the two were having another argument when she was looking over his shoulder as he sitting on the couch. When he realized she was looking, he slapped her in the face and then grabbed her, and pinned her against the wall until she fell to the floor. He then reportedly went outside and retrieved a gun case, and brought it inside, stating, “I have something for you. I will blow your head off.”

Ebony Maldonado admits to slapping her boyfriend in the face “a few times”

22-year-old Ebony Maldonado was jailed on April 3rd after slapping her boyfriend and father of her children, Efren Granados, in the face. Efren told police that he and Ebony had an argument over family matters, so he went outside, and she followed him. The argument escalated when Ebony pulled on his shirt, pulled his hair, and slapped him in the face several times. Police asked Ebony what happened, and she admitted to “slapping him in the face a few times.” Ebony was determined the primary aggressor and transported to booking.
