Darrin Langston charged with assaulting stepmother at Opry Mills Mall

20-year-old Darrin Langston was detained by Opry Mills Mall security after he pushed his stepmother during an argument. The police spoke to the stepmother, Andrea Young, who said the argument started after Darrin was upset at his father. The push left a red mark on her chest and hit her 9-year-old daughter in the back, causing a red mark. Darrin admitted striking the child but said he did not push Andrea. A witness, Christy Perry, told police that she did not know any of the parties involved but saw the entire incident. She said that she saw Darrin push Andrea and hit the 9-year-old girl.

Andrew Larson bites wife during argument

36-year-old Andrew Larson admitted to biting his wife in their RV home outside Quality Inn Motel during an argument on September 1st. Police arrived at Quality Inn on Music Valley Dr to speak to the wife, Christina Emanus, about the domestic disturbance. She told police that she and Andrew lived in the RV together, and they had argued earlier. During the argument, Andrew began pushing her. She said she put her arms up in self-defense, but Andrew bit her right arm. After he bit her, he stepped outside to separate the two of them. Police observed a bite mark on Christina’s right upper arm.

Nashville Fire Medic Zachary Mullican strikes wife’s eye, leaving her bruised, per report

34-year-old Nashville Fire Department medic Zachary Mullican’s wife told police that on August 28th, Zachary hit her in the eye while trying to grab her phone. Zachary’s wife, Jessica Mullican, said they were arguing before he hit her and bruised her eye. She left the residence, and then Zachary continued calling and texting her until the 29th when the police were contacted. Zachary continued to contact her even after she told him to stop. He was booked on the domestic assault charge on August 29th.

Austin Payne says he “suffered emotional abuse” from girlfriend; wanted her to feel it, too

26-year-old Austin Payne told the police, after his girlfriend called them, that they recently broke up and wanted to delete things off each other’s phones. Police arrived at their residence on August 30th to speak with Austin’s girlfriend, Hailey Bondia, who said Austin assaulted her. She said that after she told him she wanted to break up, they argued, and she deleted intimate photos of herself from his phone. Austin reportedly got onto her back while lying down, saying he would kill her, and hit her in the back several times, leaving two red marks. She agreed to let him delete pictures of himself from her phone, but instead, he was deleting texts between them because he knew that she would call the police. Once he realized the messages were still on her iPad, she said he chased her around the residence to grab her iPad and delete the messages.

She says he grabbed her by her shirt, dragged her outside, and threw her down the stairs, which caused redness to her knees and elbow. Austin told police that she trashed their apartment and wanted her to leave, so he physically carried her outside. Police placed him into custody, and he said that he had a video of the incident. While the police reviewed the video, Austin excitedly said, “We (the police) saw her back; It was not great. I am not trying to play it down, but it was a five-second hard slap.” They asked him about the slap, and he said that she emotionally abused him and wanted her to feel what he felt. Also, he admitted to hitting her back and causing the injuries. The video showed Hailey pulling Austin’s hair to get her iPad back. Hailey told police she wanted to prosecute, and Austin was arrested for domestic assault.

Marciana Scott charged with assault of her sister in Nashville

19-year-old Marciana Scott was booked this week on an outstanding warrant from June 19th, charging her with the assault of her sister. Kelexis Scott told police that Marciana was drunk and arguing with her child’s father. Kelexis tried to calm her down, but she was slapped in the face and developed an injury to her eyebrow. Police observed the injury and issued a warrant for Marciana’s arrest.

Jovante Robinson charged in assault of girlfriend over phone

38-year-old Jovante Robinson was charged with domestic assault after police spoke to his ex-girlfriend at 7th St on August 19th. The victim, Dannielle Young, told police that she and Robinson were in a relationship, which she ended earlier that day. She said Robinson lives with his mother two doors down, and they argued about her phone. Robinson allegedly became agitated and demanded that she open her phone. When she refused, things turned physical; he grabbed the phone, both fell to the ground, and she says he hit her in the face several times and attempted to strangle her. The victim told police that Robinson struck her lip and face during this confrontation, causing her lip to bleed. She also stated that she broke free from his grip during the altercation and told him to leave. As he was leaving, he paused and grabbed her shirt to pull her outside. Young resisted and told him that she did not want to leave with him but said that she would let him look at her phone if he left. Robinson left the residence, and she then locked the door behind him until police arrived.

Travis Biedebach charged in assault of female roommate

24-year-old Travis Biedebach was placed into custody on August 19th for an outstanding warrant from a domestic assault in September of 2022. Police arrived at an apartment at the Jackson Grove apartments on September 13th, 2022, around 11 p.m. They spoke to Travis’s roommate, Camylle White, who said that they had argued and he pushed her. When she was pushed backward, she fell into a chair. After he pushed her, she said that he left. A witness, Mr. Depriest, said that he saw the incident. Camylle stated she had a headache from the assault but was denied medical treatment.

Christopher Williams threatens to kill woman over cell phone service

55-year-old Christopher Williams argued with the victim, Tabatha Williams, on the morning of August 18th about his cell phone not working. At this time, the argument reportedly turned into Christopher screaming at Tabatha, “Get the f*/k out of my house. “Tabatha told police that he became aggressive, shoved her, then continued to body-check her out of the house. Christopher screamed at her that he would “f*/king kill her” if she did not leave. A man named Treyvon entered the room and stepped between them before she and Treyvon left the residence.

Julia Lange charged with assault of her friend at Margaritaville hotel in Nashville

49-year-old Julia Lange was seen by security at Margaritaville Hotel on Rep John Lewis Way slapping Melinda Olson in the face several times. They told police of the incident when they arrived on Friday morning. Security also told police that she took Melinda’s key card to the hotel room and left Melinda in the lobby. Melinda was escorted back upstairs, and when Julia answered the door, she was verbally abusive towards Melinda. Police heard a scuffle inside as well as a voice saying, “I will kill you,” and “Why did you hit me?” Then they heard a slapping sound, they knocked, and Julia opened the door. Inside, police could see Melinda lying on the room floor with blood on her face and knee. When they asked Melinda what happened, she told police that Julia hit her in the face. Police observed injuries to Melinda’s knee, nose, and neck. Melinda had no injuries before entering the room. Julia was determined to be the primary aggressor and was charged with domestic assault.

Donal Rodriguez-Avalos attacks girlfriend when she attempts to go out with a friend

25-year-old Donal Alexander Rodriguez-Avalos attacked his lover when she was leaving to go out with her friend, according to police. Sarahi Valle, Donal’s wife, told police that when they arrived Wednesday at her residence on Anderson Rd., Donal beat her. She said that when she was leaving to go out with her friend Donal grabbed her, hit her in the face, tried to pull her upstairs, threw her on the couch, and strangled her with one hand. She said that she did not lose consciousness but struggled to breathe. Police asked if she believed he intended to kill her, and she said that she did not know. Paramedics were observing Sarahi before she was transported to Southern Hills Hospital. Police observed bruising on her face, a bloodied, swollen lip, scratches on her neck and back, and blood inside her ears that EMS found. She said the scratches on her back were from him attempting to pull her up the stairs.
