Alabama Tourist Matthew Minetree taken to ground during fight involving multiple men on Broadway

21-year-old Alabama tourist Matthew David Minetree was one of multiple males fighting on the corner of Rep. John Lewis Way and Broadway in the early hours of March 17th. Officers observed him engaging in a physical altercation as they approached, so they tried to detain him. However, Minetree kept pulling away after being told to stop resisting, prompting officers to take him to the ground. Minetree was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

18-year-old Malachi Hood falls out of car on Broadway after drinking 12 Twisted Teas

18-year-old Malachi Hood opened the rear door of a black sedan as it traveled down Broadway, hitting two patrol cars in the early hours of March 9th. No visible damage was done to the cars, but officers observed Hood trying to exit the sedan while it moved. This caused Hood to fall out of the vehicle. Hood tried to walk away as officers told him to stop. When officers caught up to Hood, he showed multiple signs of intoxication. Officers then detained Hood, who, after being Mirandized, admitted to consuming twelve Twisted Teas. Hood spat multiple times during their interaction in the back of the patrol car. Hood was taken into custody for public intoxication, vandalism, and required posting.

Alabama Tourist Kolter Lindsay drunkenly assaults sister at Barstool Nashville

23-year-old Alabama Tourist Kolter Lindsey, a rental coordinator at McCurry Van & Car Rental, had a domestic altercation with his sister, Jazmine Ellison, at Barstool Nashville on 2nd Avenue South early March 2nd. Officers arrived and spoke with Lindsey, who was visibly intoxicated, as he advised them that “it all happened so fast” regarding the incident. Lindsay stated he shoved Ellison out of the way to keep her from getting hit. Ellison told officers it was a misunderstanding and did not wish to press charges. Lindsey was taken into custody for domestic assault and disorderly conduct.

Canadian Daniel Ross flees from police downtown; free on pre-trial release

30-year-old Canadian Daniel Ross and his friend met with another man in a back alley in downtown Nashville, one which police say is known for heavy drug activity with tourists. Police attempted to stop all three individuals; however, Ross fled the area. Officers spoke with the other two individuals, who denied any drug transactions, while another office caught up with him a short distance away and placed him into custody. Ross initially demanded an attorney, but then continued to talk to officers, stating he gave his friend $5 but wasn’t sure what it was for.
