William Leathers booked after driving 80 mph down Rivergate Parkway in Mustang

26-year-old William Leathers was speeding in his blue 2017 Mustang near Rivergate Parkway around 4:47 p.m. on February 27th. Officers observed him going 80 mph in a 40 mph zone during rush hour traffic. Leathers was observed passing several vehicles and causing them to swerve to prevent a collision. Then, Leathers drove through a yellow light, not allowing time to stop if it were to turn red. Leathers was cited for the incident that day. Leathers was booked on the citation of reckless driving on April 19th.

Man violates protection order when he bites a woman at the Rest Haven Motel

38-year-old Richard Baxter was charged with aggravated assault and he violated an order of protection when he became irate towards a woman and bit her in a hotel room while he was looking for his phone and wallet.

Woman attempts to cut office staff with broken glass

18-year-old Lateasha Simmons was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after she broke a window, grabbed a piece of broken glass, and started swinging it at the victims as she was attempting to enter an office. On February 10th, officers observed Lateasha Simmons swinging a sharp piece of glass at the victims.
