Matthew Tepper breaks girlfriend’s window after altercation

28-year-old Matthew Tepper vandalized his girlfriend, Athena Hiles’ Brittany Park Drive residence in the early hours of June 24th. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Tepper, who stated he was visiting Hiles and left following a physical altercation. Tepper added that Hiles told him he needed to leave, which he did, but shortly after leaving, he returned and threw an unknown object at her window. Tepper was then taken into custody for vandalism. Hiles was charged with domestic assault.

Johnny Rodriguez bites girlfriend’s foot during alteration at Taco Bell

54-year-old Johnny Rodriguez had a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Alyssa Rudder, at their Daybreak Drive residence in the early hours of May 20th. Around 1:33 a.m., Rodriguez’s son called the police, stating that his dad was arguing with his girlfriend, and it sounded like it had become physical. When officers arrived, they located Rodriguez and Rudder, who both reeked of alcohol and appeared intoxicated. Rodriguez told police nothing had happened, adding it was just a verbal disagreement. Officers noticed a bruise under Rodriguez’s eye and asked him how it occurred, but he would not explain.

Then, officers spoke with Rudder, who stated that around 5 p.m. on May 19th, they were leaving the liquor store in Rodriguez’s car. Rudder said Rodriguez had struck her in the head five times before pulling her hair, leaving bruises on her forearm and wrist and scratches on the back of her neck. Rudder added that later that day, they went to Taco Bell for food, during which Rodriguez exited his car without parking it, causing it to roll with her inside. Rudder stated when she got into the front seat to stop the car, Rodriguez came to the driver’s side door, grabbed her foot, and bit it. Rodriguez was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for two counts of domestic assault.

DUI: Monica Hopkins caught driving drunk with gun in reach

45-year-old Monica Mae Hopkins was jailed on April 18th after reports of a woman vomiting in the parking lot outside of her white Jeep in the early hours of April 18th. When NFD responded, Hopkins refused medical treatment. Upon arrival, officers noticed she was still in the driver’s seat of her Jeep, which was running, and as they approached, they saw empty alcoholic beverages and a handgun near her glove compartment.

Hopkins appeared confused when officers asked her what today’s date was, so they prompted her with sobriety tests, which she consented to and performed poorly. Hopkins then admitted to having a few drinks and being intoxicated. Hopkins was transported to Nashville General for clearance and then was taken into custody for driving under the influence, possession of a handgun while under the influence, and an open container violation.

DUI: Musician Alec Dockery drinks two Moscow Mules before flipping car in crash

31-year-old Alec Dockery, musician in 12 South Band, flipped his car after colliding with a parked car on Nevada Avenue in the early hours of February 9th. When officers arrived, Dockery was standing outside his vehicle, and then he advised them that he was unaware of how the crash occurred. Dockery was evaluated by medics and refused medical services. He stated that he was coming from a friend’s house in east Nashville and had two Moscow Mules about two hours before the accident. Officers observed Dockery to be visibly intoxicated during their interview. Dockery then consented to sobriety tests, performed poorly, and provided a breath sample that resulted in 0.169 BAC%. Dockery was taken into custody for driving under the influence.
