24-year-old Kevin Tuttle is jailed on a $385,000 bond and a probation hold after Metro Nashville Police coordinated with Smyrna PD to take him into custody. After fleeing from Smyrna Police’s traffic stop, he took MNPD on a chase through the city in his Nissan Maxima from a Nolensville Rd Kroger through Antioch where he tossed out a safe with a large sum of money, all the way to Richard Jones Rd and Villa Place, all while being tracked by AirONE. Police would eventually recover 8 pounds of marijuana, 1.4 Kilos of Xanax, 324 LSD stamps, 62 grams of liquid THC, 243 grams of THC wax in 9 jars, and 88 grams of crystal meth. His mugshot was not immediately available before publication.

MNPD uses AirOne to catch a 14mph over the limit speeder who flees from them — Masi Kingston arrested

Metro Nashville Police inexplicably utilized the AirOne helicopter and multiple undercover units to intercept a car going 14 mph over the speed limit overnight. An arrest warrant indicates that MNPD detectives working the violent crimes initiative attempted a traffic stop on a 2013 Audi SUV for traveling 84 in a 70 mph zone. The vehicle refused to stop and reportedly fled at a high rate of speed. Air and ground units followed the vehicle to Hickory Hollow Terrace, where the sole occupant and driver, 30-year-old Masi Kingston, bailed from the vehicle and fled on foot. He was located and taken into custody, charged with misdemeanor evading arrest, and felony evading arrest by motor vehicle. Kingston is free on a $6,000 bond.

East Precinct Detectives Investigating Murder of 17-Year-Old Kennda Watkins

East Precinct detectives are continuing in their efforts to identify the two persons responsible for Thursday night’s targeted murder of 17-year-old Kennda Watkins in the Riverchase apartment complex on Joseph Avenue. Officers responded to shots fired calls at 8:19 p.m. and found Watkins deceased in a parking lot.
