Sirrirat Phundee sells alcohol to 19-year-old at Yoshi Sushi and Thai

35-year-old Sirrirat Phundee was issued a citation on December 14th when TABC conducted a minor compliance check at Yoshi Shushi and Thai on Bell Road. Phundee sold a 12oz bottle of Miller Light to a 19-year-old informant. She did check the minor’s ID prior to making the sale. The sale was witnessed by TABC Special Agent Fitzpatrick.

Alejandra Martinez Perez sells alcohol to a minor at Waffle Taco

24-year-old Alejandra Martinez Perez was issued a citation on December 14th when the TABC conducted a minor compliance check at the Waffle Taco on Bell Road. Alejandra sold a 12oz bottle of Bud Light to a 19-year-old informant and checked their ID. A TABC Special Agent witnessed the sale.

Asish Gurung sells 12oz Bud Light to minor at Everest Restaurant and Bar

24-year-old Asish Gurung was jailed on December 14th after the TABC conducted a compliance check at Everest Restaurant and Bar on Bell Road. Gurung is a server at the restaurant. Despite checking their ID, Gurung sold a 12oz bottle of Bud Light to a 19-year-old informant. A TABC special agent witnessed the sale. Asish Gurung was booked on the citation on January 9th.

Joseph Bates caught selling alcohol to minor at Kidd Wine and Spirits

29-year-old Joseph Bates was jailed on December 14th after the TABC conducted a compliance check at Kidd Wine and Spirits on Bell Road. Bates is a clerk there and sold a bottle of wine called Cotton Wood Creek to a 19-year-old informant. Bates sold the minor alcohol despite checking their ID and seeing they were underage. Joseph Bates was booked on the citation on January 9th.

Eric Cheeks charged with selling alcohol to a minor at Gulch Hotel

35-year-old Eric Cheeks, an employee at Fairfield Inn & Suites on Division Street in the Gulch, was issued a citation on September 20th after serving an underage guest a Bud Light when he failed to check their ID. The operation was conducted by the TABC with a cooperating witness presenting with an ID with a date of birth of 01/27/2004. He was booked on the citation this week.

Christopher Bell charged with selling alcohol to a minor at Turnip Truck

30-year-old Christopher Bell was seen by the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission selling alcohol to a minor at The Turnip Truck around 3 p.m. on September 20. Officers had a “cooperating minor” whose ID stated they were born on January 27th, 2004. Bell sold a 750 ml bottle of Chardonnay to the minor after checking the ID. He was issued a citation that day and was booked on October 10th.

Rebekah Dale charged with underage alcohol sales to a minor at White Bison Coffee

A TABC agent saw 19-year-old Rebekah Dale sell wine to a minor at Centennial Blvd’s White Bison Coffee on July 11th. She was witnessed by Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission Special Agent Tomberlin checking the minor’s identification card and then handing them a pint can of Seven Daughters Pinot Noir Wine. Rebekah was very cooperative and told police she was a full-time student at Tennessee State University. Also, she told police that she had only been working at White Bison Coffee for four days and had no formal training.

Trevon Dennis charged with giving a free moonshine sample to a minor at Opry Mills

28-year-old Trevon Dennis gave a free sample of lemon-lime moonshine alcoholic drink to a minor (under 21) at the Smiths Creek Distillery store within Opry Mills Mall, according to agents with the TABC (Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission) who were conducting compliance checks on May 16. The underage person had an ID with a birthday of 05/30/2003, making her 19 at the time of the free sample.

Kelsey Ristau charged with selling alcohol to a minor at Nashville restaurant

27-year-old Kelsey Ristau sold and served a 12 oz Bud Light beer to a minor (under 21) at Rock N Roll Sushirock in Donelson, according to agents with the TABC (Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission) who were conducting compliance checks on May 16. The underage person had an ID with a birthday of 05/30/2003, making her 19 at the time of purchase. Agents say Ristaue checked the ID and continued to make the sale.

Kroger clerk Tobias Poindexter charged with selling wine to a minor

31-year-old Tobias Poindexter sold a bottle of Bay Bridge wine to a female confidential informant who was working with the TABC during a compliance check operation on March 30. She presented with an ID showing her date of birth as 05/30/03, making her 19 years old. He is charged with selling alcohol to a minor and was booked this week on the citation.
