Jelly Roll’s stalker Michael Curtis now charged with threatening police officers who arrested him

41-year-old Michael Curtis found himself back in Jail Tuesday after being jailed last week for stalking Jelly Roll. The new charges stem from the same incident, as after Curtis was released from jail, he took to social media and threatened the lives of the two Metro Nashville Police officers who arrested him during a Facebook Live video. The new warrants charge him with making threats on those officers, Garrett Short and Nickolas Andrews. He is free on a $10,000 bond. 

Kathryn Smith — too drunk and disorderly for downtown Nashville at 5 p.m.

41-year-old Kathryn Smith was found walking in traffic at 4th & Commerce in downtown Nashville at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. Officers contacted her to check on her welfare and found her to be extremely intoxicated. She point at a parking garage and stated it was her hotel. She became increasingly aggressive with officers who were attempting to find an alternate way to her hotel, but she was uncooperative. Unable to be left alone in traffic, Smith was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

Nashville Police get scammed in their own undercover drug deal — Shannon Jefferson

Undercover detectives with the Metro Nashville Police Department pre-recorded the serial numbers on the $40 in cash they handed to 50-year-old Shannon Jefferson in downtown Nashville. The agreement was Jefferson would sell them $40 worth of cocaine. They say Jefferson left to go get the cocaine, and as he moved further away from the area, he turned his shirt inside-out to change his appearance and left the area with no plans of returning with his free money. Officers eventually caught up with him and changed him with theft.

Tony Spurlock arrested during MNPD’s “Illegal Camping Patrol” in downtown Nashville

Metro Nashville Police Officer Garrett Short woke up 51-year-old Tony Spurlock as he slept on the bank of the Cumberland River at 11 a.m. on February 14. Officers noted they were conducting “extra patrols for illegal camping” as part of the quality of life team at Central Precinct. Officers noticed the no trespassing signs and that Spurlock had a previous warning, so they took him into custody for criminal trespassing. During a search incident to the arrest of the sleeping man, officers located two glass pipes on his person and additionally charged him with possession of drug paraphernalia. This was his first arrest in Nashville.

DUI: Man charged after driving wrong way on one-way street downtown — Brendon Powell

Metro Police observed 33-year-old Bendon Powell traveling the wrong way on a one-way street in downtown Nashville Saturday, then hitting a traffic cone as he took a wide turn onto Broadway at a high rate of speed. After conducting a traffic stop, officers described Powell as showing obvious signs of impairment and “indifferent” in his mental state about the current situation. He denied any medical conditions and performed poorly on all field sobriety tests. An officer actually had to catch him as he was falling onto the concrete during one of the tests.

Figaretti Spaghetti heiress points loaded gun at Real World star, says “get these hoes out of here”

30-year-old Real World Atlanta star Clint Wright was charged with domestic assault and 23-year-old spaghetti heiress Annaleah Figaretti was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after Figaretti pulled a pistol, chambered a round, and pointed it at Wright telling him “get these hoes out of here” about girls he had at the apartment she subleased to him. He and the girls showed up at her apartment and attacked her where Wright caused bodily harm to Figaretti.
