Brittany Cline charged with DUI in Belle Meade — White Claws & Modello Tallboy open in vehicle

30-year-old Brittany Nicole Cline was stopped by Belle Meade Police just after 1 a.m. Friday due to an expired tag on her vehicle. As Officer Haley Doty spoke with Cline during the traffic stop, she could smell alcohol coming from Cline’s breath and noticed a Modelo tallboy in the center cup holder and 4 empty White Claw cans along with a variety pack of unopened cans. Cline performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was unable to provide a proper sample for a breathalyzer, despite three attempts. She was charged with DUI and transported to booking.

DUI: Man charged after driving wrong way on one-way street downtown — Brendon Powell

Metro Police observed 33-year-old Bendon Powell traveling the wrong way on a one-way street in downtown Nashville Saturday, then hitting a traffic cone as he took a wide turn onto Broadway at a high rate of speed. After conducting a traffic stop, officers described Powell as showing obvious signs of impairment and “indifferent” in his mental state about the current situation. He denied any medical conditions and performed poorly on all field sobriety tests. An officer actually had to catch him as he was falling onto the concrete during one of the tests.

Woman crashes through fence, yard, car, after drinking on FB live — Shawntika McClain arrested

32-year-old Shawntika McClain faces multiple charges after police say she was driving this weekend and left the roadway, crashed through a fence, drove through a yard, and eventually wrecked into a vehicle parked in the driveway on Ocala Drive in Nashville. Police note she was “obviously intoxicated” and a glance at her social media shows her drinking shots on Facebook live before the crash. McClain has a prior DUI conviction in 2019.

DUI: Woman found slumped over wheel after 4 beers & 2 shots — Cassandra Kioussis arrested

36-year-old Cassandra Kioussis says she had “four beers and two shots” shortly before police found her slumped over the wheel of her vehicle and intersection in front of them. When police asked her to put the car in park, she rolled forward, and then rolled down the rear window instead of the front. She would eventually blow a 0.179 % BAC and was arrested for DUI.

Nashville man charged with DUI on Ellington Parkway — Jonas Bare arrested

48-year-old Jonas Bare is free on a $2,500 bond after a State Trooper pulled him over early Sunday morning on Ellington Parkway after observing him driving erratically and crossing the center line multiple times in a white SUV. He reportedly reeked of alcohol and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. Bare is charged with DUI.

Nashville Singer/Songwriter Jamie Rebekah Burke spent a few hours in jail on Memorial Day, as she was being processed for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. She was charged with DUI 2nd, as she was convicted of a previous DUI in Nashville in 2012. Susan Hammer, 60, was arrested on April 10th for her 3rd DUI after she crashed her vehicle on Bell Rd, and was released on April 13th with bond conditions that specifically state “defendant is prohibited from possessing or consuming alcohol, and defendant shall be arrested for any offense” On Friday, April 27th, Susan Hammer showed up to her DUI probation meeting at 110 James Robertson Parkway at around 2:15 PM. Passed out behind the wheel, Drunk & Poppers – Omar Lopez Arrested.

Around 3:30 AM on Sunday morning, MNPD found a Nissan Rogue on the I-65 off-ramp for Wedgewood. Inside that vehicle was Omar Lopez and a passenger. Lopez was passed out or asleep in the driver’s seat with the vehicle in drive and his foot on the brake. His passenger was also passed out/asleep.
